Art and Entrepreneurship - Interview with Viktoria Trosien

Plastic pollution of the world’s seas and oceans has reached a crisis level. Plastic has a fatal effect on wildlife and numerous marine species but also on the human food chain and our overall health. Yet, there’s not enough awareness among the public for the harm caused by plastic pollution.

In this matter education and awareness will play a major role. Then entrepreneurship will play a role by recycling processes.

When I left my home country Zambia where they give as many free plastic bags as you need when buying something from the supermarket and traveled to India for school I was surprised to how the Indian government has managed to regulate the use of plastics to using a more recycled eco-friendly paper bag that you actually need to buy when in a supermarket by way of forcing people to continue recycling it hence protecting the environment and reducing plastic pollution. We all have a role to play and this is very important cause it is these issues that are leading to climate change. I feel I need to start a campaign to end the use of plastic in my home country Zambia. Together we can!!!
