Global warming, extreme weather and stark resources shortage, all the warning signals are reminding us of the climate deterioration. The plantation area is highly responsible to the defense of global warming. Our project advocates for recycling and reuse of teaching books, to root out the paper wast, superfluous printing, massive reproduction and overstock of teaching materials. Our project would build Weplatform, served for teaching books donation, borrowing and renting along with e-books sharing, and a bonus and minus mechanism that confines the behaviors of the member in our platform. Every student that donates up to ten books to the platform, he or she will obtain the eligibility of associate membership. The identity bequeaths the right to borrow two books at a time free of any deposit and the borrowing length can be deferred once after ten days looms. If the books is returned in disrepair, the student will be scored minus. His exclusive membership right will be withdrawn by ratio. The full membership will enjoy greater right to borrowing pieces and length. Our project will tick one bar code for the book, tally and track the records of every book.

Global energy demand will increase by a third through 2040, mainly due to increased consumption in transportation in China, India, and parts of Asia. The emerging global population causes more greenhouses gases to be emitted due to non-renewable energy. As the demand for water increases, the availability of water decreases due to diminishing resources. Floods and storms concerning human losses account for 18% and 39% of disaster-related deaths from 1970 to 2019, respectively. In terms of economic losses, 54% were associated with storms, while different types of floods account for 31%. By 2050, many more countries will face less availability of surface water resources. The water requirement should not exceed the availability of water. In 2050, that number will increase from 42 to 95% or 2.7 to 3.2 billion people. From the early to mid-2010s, 1.9 billion people, or 27% of the global population, living in potentially severely arid areas. 2.2 billion humans presently do not have the right of entry to securely controlled ingesting water, and 4.2 billion, or 55% of the global population, are without thoroughly supervised sanitation. Although extreme heat events may not appear to be as spectacular as hurricanes or floods, the National Weather Service of the United States has identified it as the deadliest weather occurrence in the United States over the last 30 years, on average. Rising temperatures across the country pose a threat to people, ecosystems, and also the economy. Extreme heatwaves can make people sick and even die. Everyone wants a better education system, made for knowledge workers in the 21st century, not the one made for producing factory workers in the 19th century. Edumax does just that. Here is our plan which uses a three-pronged approach with education. In academics, most of the problems are results of issues like having a poor teacher, or a poor methodology of teaching which makes learning a chore , or a one-size-fits-all approach, among others. Edumax will revamp the learning experience by personalizing education and making it fun and interesting by using positive psychology concepts such as the flow state or the PERMA well being model.A student would be able to choose whether he does self-studying, or studies with friends or attends, based on what works best for him/her. But academics are only a slice of the pie, and for the most part is the only slice taught in schools,other than extracurriculars, most of which are worthless in real life. In the hard skills segment, we plan to let students learn whatever they want to online, with a condition of having to produce something of real-world value by whatever they learn. This can mean anything - if a child loves writing, he could write articles or stories, for instance. In the third segment, soft skills, well teach skills whichll give students an edge over the crowd and craft a better personality. Soft skills would play the most critical role in the childs development and make him/her fit for the 21st century. The curriculum would include practical skills like communication and leadership, taught by combining them into the hard skill projects that the student does, and skills like understanding human psychology and personal finance and ethics, would be taught by the classroom method, coupled with excellent teachers.

The primary objective of my platform is to encourage contract farming and allow both parties to conveniently connect and negotiate with one another. By getting farmers listed on my website, I not only plan to provide private companies a variety of farming options to choose from but also allow farmers to choose the best possible deal for themselves. I recognise that the scope of contract farming is huge as MNCs often require specified produce and prefer to be directly in touch with farmers rather than traders to ensure that they procure organic and fresh produce. Stretedu\'s main objective is to support and help as many children as possible to be educated. To influence and encourage African parents on the importance of education for their child especially the girl-child. Stretedu\'s would conduct street campaigns through which we will engage the children hawking on the street, share with them the importance of education and how we can support and assist. In the same vein, we would go with these children to their respective homes to have a more insightful discussion with their parents. While doing this, wed ensure we are able to convince 9 of out every 10 child parents we talked to if not all. However, our aim is to ensure we convince as much as possible. The girl-child who may not be hawking or on the street for anything but being restricted at home or to learn a skill without being given the opportunity to have a formal education, is also a major concern for us. One of the intended approaches is to take teaching to the street. What we intend to achieve with this is teaching and coaching children while on the street. There are people who would still not want to allow their children to go to school for different reasons. Our approach is to create a class for these sets of people in the community and teach them basic education, while we still focus on sharing the importance of education with their parents. Also, the progress we achieve by teaching the child will be used to convince the parents and/or guardians. Also, with enough funding, Stretedu would create a digital education system, where we have our own online studies for these children.

Plasco bricks are solid, light weight, plastic pavement bricks, the motivation behind this initiative is as a result of the massive degradation marine and terrestrial ecosystem through pollution from plastic waste resulting in the lost of marine diversity, drainages blockages within cities,soil pollution amongst others, born out of a deep desire to see a change in the environment by turning challenges into opportunities, we decided to transform plastics waste into pavement bricks; To build value for waste, curb marine and terrestrial pollution through plastic littering, foster the circular economy while providing employment opportunities, not forgetting our targeted SDG 13,14 and 15. We operate by means of sensitization and partnership with local communities wherein we set up collection points for this plastics waste, and we are looking forward to getting paid collectors who will our exchange agents in the field whereby people will earn from the plastics they pickup. After the collection process the plastics are sorted shredded and melted after which mixed with sand to produce durable pavement tiles. For now have haven\'t started a mass production because we are at the planning phase and we are still seeking funds to get the right machinery for Mass production but never the less we produce locally and occasionally we do go campaigns where we train persons particularly women on recycling.

Greentech Innovators is setting up a schools programme called Support-A-Learner during September holidays. The proposed project has two important aspects. Firstly there will be a sustained 6 month long engagement with schools through a science club, in which leaners are encouraged to make measurements of their local environment and find out how it is special. Secondly a week long workshop in the September Holidays in which learners find out how the Earth system works and therefore why their local area is special. We will use Walter Sisulu University (WSU) Health Resource Center which is outside the campus and situated next to a WSU Medical School. This facility has lecture halls, dining halls and medical laboratories which will be used to perform experiments during the workshop. We chose it because it is outside the campus and secured incase incidents of strike arise. The proposed field trips are Hluleka Nature reserve and Langeni Forest. These two areas are one of the scientific interesting areas based on their nature yet are rarely visited by learners. Hluleka nature reserve is a coastal protected area situated about 35km from Mthatha; this area will expose learners to the conservation of flora and fauna biodiversity from forest and marine ecosystem. The interaction of these ecosystems together with their surrounding in this regional level is a bigger picture of why earth is habitable world wild. Langeni forest has one of the manmade wonders of the nation, the viaduct bridge which was built over the forest to avoid compromising the endemic plant species. The learners will be exposed to practical sustainable development at local level.

Electric Vehicles are the Future of Transportation Technology, but in many countries like India, Greece, Turkey, etc, people who can afford EVs do not buy them! The main reason being there are no EV charging points in their country. Laying EV charging stations across the world takes lots of time and money. Our idea of Mobile EV chargers can help to solve this problem. Mobile EV Chargers are vehicles (trucks) that store charged batteries. These vehicles arrive with a tap on your device (like mobile phones), reach wherever you are, and charge your EV. These Mobile EV chargers are vehicles filled with batteries that charge your EV and then go back to their head station to replace the discharged batteries for the next shift. As these charging stations are movable they can go to the place where it is required the most (on demand) and even to the remote villages where there is no other charging station. In this way, the number of fixed charging stations required will be decreased. Mobile EV Chargers do not require the real estate required for fixed charging stations, hence reducing the cost. Mobile EV chargers are easier to deploy as we already have the batteries and also have vehicles required to carry those batteries. This will make the transition from traditional vehicles to EVs easier and faster.

Agriculture is the cornerstone of most African economies, accounting for more than 30% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of many sub-Saharan African countries and contributing 40% of export earnings. The importance of agriculture to Africa\'s economy and growth is recognized, as about 70% of Africans depend on the agricultural sector for their employment and livelihoods. However, its potential is not yet fully exploited and it faces a multitude of challenges such as the demographic challenge (feeding 9 billion people by 2050), a climatic challenge (a global warming of 2°c that would reduce agricultural yields by 10%), the deterioration of food security, the digital age and technology. To this end, USD 35 billion are deployed annually in food imports in Africa while millions of farmers struggle to escape poverty. The main limiting factors for African agriculture are temperature, atmospheric CO2 concentrations, insects and pests, and rainfall. To ensure the prosperity of African farmers and agribusinesses and to meet the demands of the African consumer, we must create a vision for the future of our food systems. The procedure of obtaining anthropometric measurements and using a Z-score board to decipher the child\'s nutritional status can be cumbersome, and increase the error margin. On the other hand, some children are left unattended to in very hard to reach or insecure areas. This therefore increases the rate of malnutrition and subsequent deaths which could be avoided if community health workers were empowered with a tool to facilitate interpretation of anthropometric measurements. For a Humanitarian organization to provide adequate help to a community, an initial needs assessment should be done. In the domain of malnutrition, the Global Acute Malnutrition Rate has to be sought. In these hard to reach or insecure areas, this assessment has not been successfully done. Approximations and extrapolations from communities slightly easier to penetrate have been used in the past, which do not give a true picture of the situation on site. Our product is an attractive proposition because nanoemulsions are cost-effective, have shown efficient transport of actives, are environmentally friendly, and can be easily synthesized. Our idea is to combine nanoemulsion technology already used in skincare products to encapsulate organic acids modified towards the encapsulation of vinegar. The scope of our work is therefore twofold: i) formulate and distribute BioV for environmental herbicide remediation, and ii) educate the population on the importance and respect of salvaging Indigenous land, as well as the safety of nanoparticles. SE-ED is an online platform for impressionable young children who lacks basic sexual education. The program name: SE-ED is inspired by the process of planting seeds into the earth; a symbol for hope. This idea first originated when our team realized that, according to Guttmatcher.org, at least half of 1519-year-olds in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda did not receive any sex education because it is not offered at their school, they drop out of school before reaching the grade in which sex education is offered, or they have never attended school. Sex education has been common in developed countries. However, most undeveloped countries did not teach the basic knowledge of sex. According to the hkc news in 2019, South African children have less opportunities to study, especially girls who live in poverty. They drop out of school early because they had to fulfill their mission (marriage) in order to exchange for wealth. In addition, most African girls also feel helpless when they first encounter their menstrual cycle. To make matters worse, insufficient sex has caused many children to get HIV and AIDS. With the lack of sexual education in Southern Africans body and mind, many issues penetrate their society. We hope to develop a system that would encourage the learning of sexual education. In our designed platform, high schoolers from all around the world who have adequate financial and educational ability share their knowledge regarding sex to Southern African youngsters. The idea is that younger kids are more prone to manipulation and thus it is important for them to learn the basic concepts of sex education. The main objective of this idea was to minimalize the amount of trash thrown away by people who lived along the seashore, to the sea and river. This isolated area was inhabited by communities that had not shown any awareness about the issue, due to less knowledge regarding it. Even though sometimes residents choose to burn their garbage instead of throwing it into the sea, it is also a destructive option for the environment. Activities proposed in this idea were the establishment of landfills for each village and systematic trash transportation. These actions had to be done sequentially, for they are connected and need each other role in this plan. The reason why villagers throw away their trash to the sea is caused by the area are not facilitated with landfills, so there are no other options for them. But even if landfills were provided, trash management is still required. So as a consequence of building landfills, systematic trash transportation is compulsory to be implemented. Which will carry the collected garbage to bigger landfills in the nearest town for taken further care of. The trash transportation will take place twice a week for each village, and a number of villages in one trip. One way to attract the societies to throw their trash on the landfills is by giving them convenience as not obligated to pay even a penny for this program. If we charge the cost to the residents, it may prevent the success of this program as they are not willing to pay for it, since it was easier to just throw their trash into the sea without expending for such a thing. The only option is to charge all the expenses to the local government institution, with the hope society\'s awareness gained gradually.

According to an article published in the world electric vehicle journal, one-third of the cost of a BEV is the battery. This is where Neuron steps in, the BEV is designed to allow the user to continue replacing the battery as and when it is depleted (plug and play). Neuron hopes to cut down BEV production costs by separating the battery from the BEV by manufacturing it as a separate commodity. The Lithium-Ion batteries will be manufactured separately and sold to the customers on a rental basis or until depleted, at retail outlets or recharging facilities directly. The customer after renting, can plug the battery into the BEV and go about his/her daily routine. When the battery is almost depleted, the user will return the battery to the recharging facility, rent a recharged battery and the cycle continues. The depleted batteries will be recharged at the recharging facilities and are ready to be rented again by the customer.

Multiple animated tools are also available in this virtual e-learning game as whiteboards, laboratory tools, art tools, instruments, calculators, etc. Mini-games will be available to make learning easier as flashcards, quiz games, tic-tac-toe, coloring, etc. This way, STEAM could be part of education, even through tragedies. The surveys and interviews I conducted with online-learning users concluded that 9 out of 11 students lost motivation to study and accomplish their goals for the school year. Thus, this platform is more organized with timetables and constant reminders and announcements. Also, a rewarding technique is used for every right answer in class, assignment submitted, activity participated in, or help offered. The second part is for people wishing to learn a specific skill; they search about the field, the teacher, the educational environment, and the budget they prefer. The main objective of the Leaves Pulverizer is to stop the burning of plantations and reduce forest fires. We have a service for farmers that will facilitate the process of creating space for agriculture by blending agricultural waste and plowing it into the soil. From this, the organic fertilizer we get will enrich the soil. Dry leaves are one of the main fuels of forest fires, the machine can blend the dry leaves and small twigs so that they can be fermented and used as fertilizer. Because fermentation creates methane, a GHG, we will transform it into electricity and sell it to the government, then households can use the electricity through a power grid. Communities can also obtain renewable energy by using a mini version of the machine to blend household waste to produce biogas from fermentation.

Furthermore, to support the healthy development of all children including adolescents, the centre will provide out of school and summer programs. This will not only bridge a gap of zero child orientated programs in Lesotho during school holidays to limit the number of unsupervised kids, but it will also help ease the minds of parents (particularly women) in order for them to work to their full potential. This is because in Lesotho, textile factories employ over 85% of young female workers and it is the lowest paying formal sector employment in the country. As designers and engineers, we were driven by an iterative process of learning through making exploring various methods like vacuuming and adhesives. However, my discovery started with an observationrubbing a balloon against a sweater and watching shaved tyre particles dance. This led me to hypothesise that the rubber itself was charged and that I could use electrostatics to capture it. I serve fleet vehicle operators and manufacturers to achieve zero-emission goals. My device uses electrostatics and airflow around the wheel to capture tyre particles; to be processed and reused in a variety of applications, creating a closed-loop system. My thought that rubber particles coming off the tyre are positively charged due to friction. Using a single array of electrostatic plates, this design currently captures 60% of all airborne particulates. It will low energy and will be powere directly from the cars alternator.Positioned close to where the tyre meets the road, with sufficient ground clearance, the device takes advantage of various air flows around the spinning wheel. It will attached to the steering knuckle, free to move and turn with the suspension, and adaptable to different vehicles. Captured tyre particles are stored in a cartridge within the device and collected during servicing , if cartridge is fill, the sensor will notify us to remove that. Once refined, they will extract and use in a variety of applications, including new tyres, 3D printing and dyes, creating a closed-loop system.

Girls are forced to miss out on school (3-5 days) when they menstruate because they cant afford sanitary towels during their period. The Operation-Pad-A-Girl project aims to curb this ugly trend by providing free sanitary pad kits, training young women on how to use sanitary pads and reinforce the confidence of girls to be proud of their menstrual cycle. Other expected impacts of this project include: Girls will not have to miss school simply because they are menstruating. Girls should feel free and comfortable even during their menstruation period. Energy needs are increasing day by day and fossil energy reserves are limited. With the world facing a global coal crisis, the argument for the need to shift towards renewable sources of energy has only become stronger. In long term, humanity needs greener and cleaner sources of energy for its overall prosperity and long term. The world has about 7billion people and another 1billion cattles, together creating waste amounting to 1Trillion tonnes of waste annually, which is polluting the environment due to lack of waste management infrastructure. We simply look forward to creating energy utilising this waste. We offer a hybrid solution consisting of an in-house designed power plant and an app-based ecosystem service for creating an efficient supply chain (which has been a historic limiting factor for the growth of this sector worldwide). For human waste, we offer group housing societies complete onsite waste to energy solutions to convert their communities waste to value. We have designed a specialised bioenergy plant to convert biomass to energy and manure and back-end supply chain management would be executed through our application. This in turn could create a value of $12K/Month for a housing project of 1000 households. For, value-rich cattle waste, We franchise existing bio-energy plants (which use more expensive and low yield bio-waste supply chain constraints) and align them with cattle waste supply using an app-based system. An average cow keeper in India has about 45-100cows with each cow on average producing about 25-30kg of manure daily, we look forward to aligning highly defragmented stakeholders of this sector through an application based service, solving the main problem of this sector which is poor supply chain management. Through this, we could increase the production margin by 180%, which is where we create a profit simultaneously generating multi-fold value for our partners.

What\'s more - the lack of financial support on the appropriate scale causes the closure of the psychiatric facilities which results in overload in the other and long waiting lists. Furthermore, the head physician of child and youth mental hospital, Dr. Lucka, says that the are no other alternatives to send the young patients. TUKE is a mental health facility for youth at the risk of developing (or already having) mental illness/disorders. To achieve the highest form of recovery or prevention TUKE is regarding clients socio-economic situation, family and peer relations, school issues, health, and/or substance abuse. TUKE believes in a solid yet simple approach towards mental health by three main objectives: community, family, and personal development. What is special about TUKE is SAM (socially active model) which activates the clients to participate in social and family activities as well as developing themselves in their own area. It is worthy to note that Africa contributes less in terms of carbon emissions but is the most vulnerable to effects of climate change, in that regard if CSTP approach is applied it could help Africa achieve SDG 7 by improving access to cheap , reliable clean energy , according to www.statista.com only about 10 percent of Africa\'s population have access to the grid ,it is estimated that in 2020 about 592 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa did not have access to electricity , therefore the introduction of frontier technologies and stronger policy reforms is in tandem with SDG 13 .

Next, UV light should be attracted to an apparatus which uses a mechanism to transform harmful UV light to energy. Furthermore, if a person is diagnosed with the disease, contact tracing would begin immediately by sending a notification to everyone who has been to the same area in a time interval that depends on the spread rate of the specific disease. We believe that this could prevent the spread of the disease more efficiently, as it notifies people that they are potentially infected before they feel any symptoms and spreads it to others. Additionally, users would always be able to access reliable information about the disease and the accessibility of their nearest hospital. This would allow them to save their lives if an emergency appears to happen. The animals would be fed with the residues from the crops we produce, while the crops would be fertilized with the animals dung, this will reduce the level of waste being produce during agricultural production, With this, people having the mentality that farming is a dirty job and that it\'s a profession for the poor will begin to find agricultural production interesting, attractive and at the same time lucrative, because waste recycling will take place and that will reduce the cost of production leading to higher income. We also aim at farming without the use of agrochemicals (synthetic fertilizer s and pesticides), which are detrimental to human health, we would produce only healthy and nutritious food which qi in turn improve the quality of life. The main activities of Go-Green will be to focus on monitoring, assisting, and selling crops. Go-Green includes an AI and IoT platform into which the farmer enters the type of crops and the location where the crops are planted, after which the Go-Green application predicts when the crop can be harvested. Also, the Go-Green application gives daily updates on when (time) to water the crops based on the type of crops planted. As we know, after harvesting, farmers in Africa are finding difficulties selling their products.
