Entrepreneurial Role Model Sami Hourani Shares his Best Business Advice
Published on: 15.06.2017
What makes a young successful social entrepreneur the person he or she is?
Sami Hourani, a serial entrepreneur from Amman, Jordan shares his story in an interview for the Entrepreneurship TV. He was following a safe path toward a career in medicine and suddenly he decided to pursue a career as a social entrepreneur. Don’t miss the advice and experience that Sami shares with us. You can find your story in his words and an inspiring role model.
What helped Sami succeed and how did he face challenges, from social pressure to the lack of financing?
Sami reveals his journey from a high school kid playing with a blog to the founder of a global platform, For9a.com, and two other successful initiatives, FADFED, and Leaders of Tomorrow.
How did he start? Sami wanted that that all people, especially youth, had equal access to education opportunities. He describes the joy of ten new likes on the Facebook page or 50 visitors on the portal. Today, more than a million of people like the Facebook page of For9a.com and about 10,000 visitors each day.
Did he have the vision of such a big platform?
No, he didn’t. Sami says that when you start something, you don’t know where it is going. It may go better than expected, it may not work. “You just need to continue what you’re doing,” he highlights.
“You need to establish a company that is really serving to people, make it sustainable, and not forget about the social cause,” is an advice that Sami highlights.
Find out how his platform grew so big and get great advice on the importance of passion and mistakes in entrepreneurship, on how to face challenges and how to get things done and not give up.

Its real helpful and nice experience sometimes I agree with Mark’s theory of use and disuse, for an enterprenour the more you use your brain, feeding your brain with entrepreneurship concept the more you grow in creativity and rethinking.. Challenges are never meant to pull you back but the options you choose once you face challenge is what can either take you back or be the stepping stone to another level

I agree with the point that one shouldn’t be worried about where he/she is going with their idea. At the end of the day what really matters is how much have you contributed to keep the planet clean and green. This can only happen when you come together and show everyone how important it is to maintain the sustainability of the environment.
