Five Life and Work Rules for Young Entrepreneurs

Either if you plan to be a future entrepreneur or a future everything there are some simple rules that apply to life and work and help you pursue your dreams. They also help to build positive habits and attitudes that are the key to success.

Put passion in everything you do

When you put your heart and soul in what you do the road down to success can be easier. It doesn't matter what you do but how you do it. Thus, it is important to choose a job, business or idea that you can be passionate about no matter if it risks to fail or let you down. You have to bring passion to your life not only at work but at anything you do, even in the way how you describe how an prickly pear tastes to someone that never eaten one.

Set goals

Setting goals is an essential skill that you need for making your dreams come true, when those dreams are realistic. The point is to start small with practical goals and work hard in order to achieve them. You may have a long list of ongoing goals that start with: healthy eating to learning Japanese. No matter how big you dream, set small but smart goals and progress will come.

Wake up with the sun

There are various studies that make a connection between success and early risers. They say that early birds are happier, healthier, more successful and more productive than night owls. Here's a list by Business Insider  of 21 successful people that wake incredibly early.

Besides the blood type, this has to be your mindset. If you lack it you must create a habit of positive thinking. Start with ridding you life of negative influences. They can be negative, behaviours, thoughts, people, toxic friends. On the other hand, you can cultivate healthy habits and build better relationships with people that inspire and support you. You must create or join a network of people like you. As Monty Python said: Always look at the bright side of life.

Keep the child within you alive

Grow up they said. It would be fun they said. Here you are working hard and taking responsibility for yourself and other people. That's great, but it can also be boring. Look at children. They are always happy and enthusiast for small things. The inner child is often considered the source of creativity. Don't worry if others call you childish, play will leaves, get soaked in some fountain, walk barefoot and do whatever children do. In order to be big you must know the importance of being small from time to time.

Powerful rules indeed. While all the rules for successful entrepreneurs are very important, I am mostly thrilled with setting goals.
