GOLDEN POT is a small device which does wonders. It helps us to adopt a lifestyle which is environment friendly and goes towards SUSTAINABLE LIVING by converting the kitchen waste into organic mannure. It not only segregate the waste but also reduce the amount of waste going out of the house to landfills. We know that 80% of the garbage bag from a household is filled with wet kitchen waste. By using this pot we are cutting off that 80% of wet waste. This is a part of lifestyle which once adopted helps the society in waste management as well as environment conservation. GOLDEN POT itself is an earthen pot so it is an environment friendly product. It is quite affordable and easily available. With minimum maintanence required, this composter is very user friendly and hence very easy to bring into yr lifestyle. Every business must have a plan to sustain. we believe in product quality, pre and post sales assistance along with demonstration of the product. Seed money- We have taken a small loan from our parents which will be repayed. MANUFACTURING - Pots are ordered to a local potter, and he can complete the order in 2 days time for any future order. PRE SALE Training the team - we are training our team about each step of composting and the team will train prospective buyers through workshops, talks and assemblies in schools and residential societies. We want to expand and sell the product in other cities also through internet free features for sometime like facebook pages. Later we would like to go for an app and website too. POST SALE Our team will be a phone call away to cater any query from the buyers. RE INVESTING THE PROFITS We will be investing the profit earned in further manufacturing and training.

I am a 16 year old student of class 11 from MAHARAJA SAWAI MAN SINGH SCHOOL JAIPUR INDIA. I have been involved in environmental conservation activities since the age of 11 years. Im a very active member of the 'Conservation club' of our school. I also run an environment conservation page on face book by the name of R4, which means Reduce , Reuse, Recycle and Restore. I have organized a segregated waste collection drive during a marathon in my city with a message that " Marathons should generate a message and not WASTE". I have also organised a year long E-waste collection drive in my school, and we handed over the collection to a firm which works for safe disposal of the same. Through this activity we promoted Reduse and Recycle. I also did an "Old Books collection drive" in my school and the collected books were given to underpriviledged children through NGOs. Through this activity we promoted Empathy as well as recycling and re-using the old books and notebooks. All these activities fetched me a prestigious award for 'ENVIRONMENTALIST OF THE YEAR' in my school. on seeing my passion towards this project and towards sustainable living my school ,teachers and my parents are all very supportive and Im sure together we will make it a successful project.

A good idea is to turn kitchen waste into organic tanks. I suggest you work on converting these waste into organic fertilizer for plants or organic fuels or make the golden pot a device to make organic fuels and use in restaurant because have a large waste food.

thank you so much Dielamo ... as u said we are providing jobs to potters as well as we are training people to reduce the waste fromtheir households, as we all know that 80% of the garbage bag is wet kitchen waste, so if we convert the kitchen waste into manure we are not throwing it in the garbage bag and hence reducing the waste going to landfills...
This is a novelty idea. Provides jobs for pot makers and also manures for the agricultural fields. But I think you don't only have to sell the pots to end-users but industrializing it yourself. Make it an industry of selling manures made from golden pots recycled wastes in large quantities to the agriculturalists. Starting such an initiative at the age of 16, you have a far greater chance of making it big just at the turn of adulthood. Not even the sky is your limit. Best of your luck with your project.
