Information on Free Education and Career by Mladiinfo International
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
The Mladiinfo platform provides information for young people via its web portal, www.mladiinfo.eu, from which significant numbers of youth have been able to profit. Among our main achievements, first and foremost is bringing international opportunities for free education and career development closer to youth. Beyond the online platform, we also work to empower youth directly by organizing different types of youth exchanges, workshops, trainings, conferences and events. The Mladiinfo platform also offers a space for youth to express their opinions writing articles in English. Nowadays the portal has more than 160,000 visits per month with visitors from almost all countries around the world. Our visitors and readers are active young people looking for educational opportunities abroad. On average 20 universities/organizations per week ask us to publish their content. Our social network pages on Facebook and Twitter include in total more than 100,000 fans and friends. Visits from EU countries represent 1/3 of the total monthly visits of the Mladiinfo page. In addition we have visitors from the USA and other countries on the European continent non-members of the EU. Moreover, the success of our impact can be measured based on feedbacks and evaluations that we receive from youth exchanges, workshops, trainings and conferences that we organize. All of the mentioned statistics are helping us to ensure the quality of our services as well as the sustainability of the platform. Last but not least, we facilitate personal development with youngsters all around the globe, empowering them to become active citizens and bearers of positive changes in their countries.
Sustainability and future plans
Our future plans include continuous updating of web content, providing useful information regarding different kinds of opportunities, and supporting local as well as European volunteers. Furthermore, the world has a myriad of pressing challenges, including free access to education for everyone. This challenge is often a result of lacking infrastructure, institutional barriers, economic obstacles, disability, gender roles, and so on. We therefore plan to focus on mLearning/iLearning in the coming years. Our most recent project (www.myouth.eu) has opened a space for young digital entrepreneurs to create mobile applications with social impact. The development of youth entrepreneurial spirit is also becoming more and more important. Mladiinfo International therefore plans to further encompass the development of social entrepreneurship in the ecosystem in Macedonia, providing workshops on social entrepreneurship and development, starting with idea creation. At the same time, the Association for Education Mladiinfo International will continue to develop youth projects and be financed by the European community programmes. We intend to strengthen our influence in the region of South-East Europe and Central Europe, where we already have 9 active offices, and are also are planning to transmit our knowledge and provide know-how for youth information and youth empowerment to the North African countries, analyzing the ecosystem there and the needs and demands of local youth. Additionally, different opportunities will be explored for Mladiinfo International to grow from a non-profit organization to a social enterprise, continuing to create immense impact on the lives of youngsters in different corners of the world.
