Cabinet NutriDiete (www.cabinet-nutridiete.com)
Explain your idea in details:
Our project addresses a number of public health problems in Africa. With the mass consumption of industrial food products that we do not even master the quality and composition, and the lack of structure of nutritional and dietary management of the diseases related to these problems. We will fill this gap in health services and relieve congestion in our hospitals which do not have the necessary resources for the nutritional and dietary management of chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, malnutrition, obesity, anemia, gout, etc.). Secondly, we are overwhelmed by the agro-food industries and there is no independent structure in Niger for the quality control of their products and the development of innovative products such as the design of personalized recipes for the chronically ill, Infants, pregnant women, professional athletes, the elderly. NutriDiete will be an aid to public health policies in Africa. NutriDiete is considering a range of digital paramedical services and services. First, we will computerize everything, including paramedical appointments with nutritionists and doctors in our office, patient files, outlines of consultations, etc. Secondly, we will conduct nutritional consultations and develop personalized diets in paramedical and agro-industries, diffusion health information online, publishing dietary food recipes and nutritional surveys / food security among populations. https://cabinet-nutridiete.com/presentation-du-cabinet/
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
One of the major expected impacts relates to a contribution to public health, increasing the quality of life, reducing the costs of managing chronic diseases linked to malnutrition, and reducing social inequalities in health in Niger and the world. The NutriDiete nutritionists mentioned the positive impact that, once implemented, measures to prevent complications and to regulate chronic diseases adopted in the long term. NutriDiete will also contribute positively to climate change issues by developing levers to encourage more moderate and sustainable consumption behaviours, reducing waste and squandering, and innovation in more efficient and seamless industrial processes. It will lead to levers for economic growth, job creation and export for the agro-food industries, by developing goods and services with high added value, adapted to demand. It will contribute to territorial dynamics by linking local production systems with the quality of food products, building the interactions between food systems and other systems (energy, chemical, urban, etc.) and integrating into the Systemic vision of the development of the bio-economy. Food security and nutrition are essential dimensions of sustainable development. While 868 million people are chronically undernourished throughout the world, the elimination of malnutrition remains a major challenge to be addressed globally. NutriDiete will estimate the prevalence of malnutrition and its consequences, increase visibility of the problem among citizens, draw the attention of policy makers and provide them with better information for better public policies through the nutrition surveys.
