Steet light uses the huge amount of electricity which requires a great amount of energy to produce the following amount of electricity that is needed to generate light for street light. Also, streetlight that exists currently has few negative effect on nature and the life of the plants/animals survival. Since the streetlight exists in a high ground level, it directly sends out light to tall trees which can stunt the growth of trees. Also, a streetlight is likely to affect humans circadian rhythm. Since the street light stays at the top of the house, it affects the amount of melatonin secretion which eventually breaks the healthy human circadian rhythm. MAIN OBJECTIVES: to create a road path without harming the environment in a long term. ACTIVITIES: cover the road with additional putty that ables the road to be on a ground level and ables to be self-luminescent after saving solar energy during the daylight and uses to produce light in the night. INNOVATIVE APPROACHES: First, it is very innovative that streetlight will no longer exist in a tall stand post but exist on the ground where it is more beautiful, nature-friendly, and safe to humans.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Currently, normal street light needs about 150 watts to produce light for 12 hours, however, this panel. using a concept of saving the energy it got from the solar energy, will then emit its light after the sun had set. It will be expensive to make one panel but will be 100% cost effective than streetlight if we use it as a long term technology.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
This basic business will mainly be a service industry in order to be a cooperative business with the government to alleviate the environment and economic problem and seek for the better clean future of the country. This business will be likely to gain profit after business is starting to grow by getting an investment from the government and other company for developing better technology and also enlarging the size of the company.
