Well-paid labor jobs for high school graduates
Explain your idea in details:
The organization targets to reduce the amount of high school graduates in the near future who choose to enter universities with the solely purpose is to earn a degree without any interest in further studies. They are the ones who are afraid of social prejudices, regard university as the only safeguard against unemployment or low income jobs, disbelieve in the fact that there are a plenty of well-paid laborious job chances for them. Easily to see, this is not the ultimate choice, which only leads to an awful waste of time and money. We are the third party supplier who would approach, persuade and counsel the mentioned ones to later apply for reasonable salary labor jobs in reliable companies, and take up e-learning, short courses or instead. Furthermore we will connect to some libraries to help them borrow books or documents at low cost if the students have the desire. We also hold events, offer consulting services in employment contracts and the relevant labor laws to guarantee a secure future with safe, long-term career.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
If succeed, the project set up from this idea will help to reduce the amount of unnecessary time and money wasted on universities, increase the number of high quality young workers, promoting participation in companies with considerable developing potential rather than small businesses which have no long-term strategies. Also, this help to decrease the stereotypical opinion and mindset of the relevance of university degree to well-paid job chances, which consequently encourages more students to enter the workforce after graduating high school or though it may seem strange, go to vocational school after finishing secondary school. Yet they still earn sufficient, or even above-average income, contrary to present popular belief. Eventually, the project helps to improve the national economy, foster sustainable development.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The first customers should be the ones who fail the national entrance exam to universities and those looking for a part-time job during their university years as well, and later the high school students. Communication partners are NPOs, NGOs, Community Organizations. Via communication partners, posters, then Facebook, email, and eventually at schools, we would approach, persuade and counsel the students. The information resources mainly come from job-seeking websites and job fairs. The source of capital for organizing events comes from fund-raising and sponsors at first, and later from brokerage fees. Main costs are associated with marketing strategy, human resources, events.
My full name is Phan Anh Th, I'm presently attending a high school in H Chí Minh City, Viet Nam. I am engrossed in many activities which support sustainable local development, or you can call it the activities which improve my environment, my surroundings, my school, my home, in other words. Besides the above idea, reducing food waste and encourage native products are my 2 top interests. Being a teenager, I clearly feel the overrated importance of universities in many countries in the world. Along with the awareness of graduates coming from low income families usually have a strong tendency to take jobs in business which have little developing potential or become a retailer who take advantage of xenophilia and low-paid workers as well to sell unmarked/foreign products, there comes my idea. This idea is not my first attempt to set up something new. Feel free to ask, to comment, to make suggestions, to disagree with and to point out the disadvantages in my idea, I would really appreciate those. Thank you.
