Explain your idea in details:

Ghanas agricultural sector has seen a gradual decline in food crop production over the past years This is because a greater number of farmers lack the necessary skills to produce quality high yield crops for the market. (2010 Population and Housing Census) Compo Ghana supplys quality yet affordable compost and introduces Innovation by way of technical assistance and training whilst leveraging on simple tracking methods to evaluate progress. Our Vision is to ensure sustainable agriculture among small scale farmers. In a bid to achieve an Environmentally Friendly, Inclusive and Sustainable development, our Vision Aligns with about 5 of the SDGs and the first aspiration of Agenda 2063. Our main Objectives are: 1 To create and effectively manage an extensive distribution network to help farmers access affordable compost and other Eco-friendly inputs and devices. 2 To train and give technical assistance to small holder farmers on best practices to increase crop production and decrease post-harvest loses. 3 leverage our wide distribution network to help farmers market and sell food crops and make money. Innovative approach: because majority of our customers are small holder farmers, we will integrate successful traditional practices with modern day practices whilst gradually introducing Agrotechnology to achieve maximum impact.

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

Compo Ghana will not only deeply impact the lives of farmers, but also the entire nation as it has a direct bearing on the quality and quantity of food crops produced as well as good economic conditions and promotes a clean environment because compost is a finished product of recycled human and animal bio waste. Our success is determined by our ability to help farmers increase crop production and make more money whilst expanding their businesses. We at Compo Ghana pledge to help make the world a better place by establishing our vision on five goals of the SGDs as follows: Goal one- No Poverty Goal Two- Zero Hunger Goal Six- Clean Water and Sanitation Goal eight- Decent Work and Economic Growth Goal Seventeen- Partnerships for the Goals

Hello fellow passenger,

You might have heard the famous song "What I've done" by Linkin park. The lyrics have been beautifully carved by the late singer Chester Bennington. The song covers the ways in which our so called development has helped only a handful of the upper society members, whereas people are still living in poverty.

We have a great platform here which is urging super brains from around the world to come together and collaborate with their ideas and help make this world a better place to live in. You have been a part of this community and I congratulate you on your effort that you have put in.

Thanks once again and all the best for the future

Comrades,
In this fight for a sustainable future, what we need is innovation; something which is not necessarily new, but which makes us look at things from a different angle.

I believe this is one of the major motives of this community which we are a part of. Taking one step together hand in hand towards our goal is the only way we can achieve it.

So I wish you the very best in this endeavour of yours and hope to see you together in the new tomorrow

Hello,
Being a part of India's well-known Entrepreneurship Cell of the most prestigious engineering college in India, I have interacted with many startup enthusiasts, have got to know how they think and what are some qualities that set them apart from the ones who are not able to see their idea through. Reading through your idea, I have realised that your idea has that spark which can help it become a successful venture. Coupled with its aim to help the society achieve its goals sustainably, your idea can be something quite helpful for the same.

But before it's implementation, you need to do a "premortem" check on how it can fail. This would prepare you for any uncalled-for circumstances and help you prepare for them accordingly.

Lastly, I would like you to have a look at our idea, GreenSpace, and share your views about the same.

Regards,
Team GreenSpace.

Hi,
After going through your idea, I firmly believe that you can successfully convert it to an executable project and help the society grow in a sustainable manner. I wish you the best for the same.

I would really appreciate if you could go through my idea as well(follow this link https://www.entrepreneurship-campus.org/ideas/12/5961/comments). Our idea deals with covering an otherwise unused rooftop of a building with green plants, and using that space for a multitude of activities. This would have various positive effects on the environment and also the society in general.

Thank you

Hello,
I invite you kindly to comment my idea Path To Knowledge. I would be glad to hear your advice. I have written this message after I commented almost all ideas and projects and probably yours too. I am deeply sorry if this message bothered you, but everyone on this platform wants to go to the finals with his/her idea and makes all it is possible to get there. Maybe not all the actions are fair. Some participants copies the same meaningless message and paste it to all ideas. I just do marketing. Again, I am sorry if this message disturbed you.
Kindest regards,
Andrei

Yes Shuhra we plan to scale up and go international and adapt our business model to suit the ecosystem of any country we enter. At Stefan thank you for the observation and suggestion. A very important part of our business model relies on creating sustainable partnerships and the rest of the team is on the ground creating awareness as i write this.

June 22, 2017 19:14

Hey..I really like your story and your idea. You are doing a great job. May I suggest one thing - partnerships. Explore that more, because that can have major impact at the cost-benefit. Also, to get people enrolled at your program you already have their need, you need their attention and awareness. You need to make them see how can you help them satisfy their need. Keep up the good work, best of luck!
