Explain your idea in details:

The Objective of the “CLICK” is to support quality education with providing equal opportunities of education to the children at primary schools no matter their social, economic or other conditions. Though we have more or less access to the internet in urban and rural areas of developing country named Georgia, we do not get the quality at primary schools. The idea is to create and use special mobile game application in Georgian named "Click" providing quizzes and virtual, visual explanation in mathematics and chemistry. Each child will have free access to personal user through the application while being at classrooms. The main idea is equal and free access to easily understandable ways and learn technical subjects which requires more than just verbal explanation and learning process becomes more interactive. The innovative component in this regard applies to usage of game in educative process. As we all know, the first association while hearing the words “mobile games” always comes entertainment but the concept is to transform games and entertainment to learning process and managing high interaction in gaming world from school children’s side. The game itself will cover the following areas: School Name. Username and Password : individual for each school children. Language: Georgian. Grade section. Levels of learning process : three main level divided according the studying year. Subjects : Mathematics, Chemistry. Tasks while playing the game. Time limit. Analyzing statistics: Strong and Weak side, individually. All in all , we get win-win condition: Children are provided with easy ways to understand and memorize mathematics and chemistry, Teacher have strong and highly involved students in teaching process on local and national level, at primary schools.

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

There is the strong connection between the sustainable development in Quality Education and the mobile game application “CLICK”. This applies to the Sustainable Development Goal #4.1 "By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes" and 4.1.1 "Proportion of children and young people: (a) in grades 2/3; (b) at the end of primary; and (c) at the end of lower secondary achieving at least a minimum proficiency level in (i) reading and (ii) mathematics, by sex." In this sections “CLICK” operates with the following: Free access to education, Equal access to education, Proportion in grades at primary schools and achieving at least a minimum proficiency level in reading and mathematics, in addition to this: Chemistry. Therefore,“CLICK” applies to Sustainable Development Goal # 4.4 "By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship" and 4.4.1 "Proportion of youth and adults with information and communications technology (ICT) skills, by type of skill" In this section “CLICK” operates with the following : improving youth and adults technical skills while using the game application navigating virtually. What is more, this will address to the proportion of youth and adults with information and communication technology skills. Target group : Primary school children. Subjects: Mathematics and Chemistry. Measuring of the success will be qualitative and quantitative. Expected involvement : 10 schools for starting phase( first 3 months) in my home city (public/private). For the 1st year : covering Georgia with main cities: 100 schools=more than 2000 students involvement.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

The steps for implementation goes the following : Creating the mobile game application which is the main tool for implementing “CLICK”. T, Game developer team will work on creating the game itself. The parallel step is to create content in Georgian in order to deliver in mathematics and chemistry to primary school children and in which I am responsible for. There is special curriculum which is general for state and private schools in Georgia so the game will be in accordance with national curriculum but with explanatory and visualization sides of mathematics and chemistry via digital teaching methods. Children anyway play mobile games so if we accumulate their natural involvement in games, we get education via games and easy ways to memorize the content. For the starting phase the game will be created for Android application as it is the easiest way to download the game app for most devices such as PC or Tabs, including mobile devices. Each child will have their personal user and can use it while being at mathematics and chemistry lessons at school. Beside almost every school in Georgia is equipped with computers. Business model looks like the following: As long as the main idea is to provide free and equal opportunities of quality education to children at primary schools, school children will not pay any cent though the sustainability will be based on state and/or private school finance 5 GEL (=2.08 USD) per download and 3 months license. They have opportunity to invest in values such as equal and quality education to all children. This is what makes “CLICK” unique from this perspective.

Your profile

Born in 1990, after breaking down Soviet Union, I was raised in middle-class family in a small city of a small country named Georgia at the border or Europe and Asia. My early childhood was connected to civil war during 2 years and my parents had to overcome lot of obstacles while trying to give me and my brother proper education. Afterwards, the country tries to develop and gain our niche on international arena;Working in public service in Georgia 5 years for now, I am proud I can deliver possibilities to citizens of Georgia being equal no matter of their social class or economic conditions. Besides several fields improvement in my country there is still lack of proper education which is so much important for the development of the society especially for children having quality education in primary schools. I graduated Bachelor Degree in my home country with Honors majoring in International Relations and at the same time while working in public service hall I have been working more than 6 years for now in the field of education mainly connected to trainings involving young people engaging themselves in self-development. As long as young generation especially students at primary schools are the basis of the healthy society and future of the county’s existence, my focus goes on them as their education is the fundamental for the whole society of Georgia. The more people receive quality education and equal possibilities to it, the more chances raise for my country’s positive change in the future. That’s why I created the idea of “CLICK” and yes! There is a click opening the new window to new challenges and equal chances to quality education for children.

As the YCEC draws closest to close take this from me, Those who win a competition are not always the best but they are the ones that put extra effort and got that little push they desired. On the other hand those that doesn't win are not always the worst either most times they always go ahead to become the better ones on the long run. So selected or not never give up on your idea or project, try as much hard to make it a reality. Congratulations in advance. Changing the world begins with you. CHEERS.

Hello fellow passenger,

You might have heard the famous song "What I've done" by Linkin park. The lyrics have been beautifully carved by the late singer Chester Bennington. The song covers the ways in which our so called development has helped only a handful of the upper society members, whereas people are still living in poverty.

We have a great platform here which is urging super brains from around the world to come together and collaborate with their ideas and help make this world a better place to live in. You have been a part of this community and I congratulate you on your effort that you have put in.

Thanks once again and all the best for the future

Comrades,
In this fight for a sustainable future, what we need is innovation; something which is not necessarily new, but which makes us look at things from a different angle.

I believe this is one of the major motives of this community which we are a part of. Taking one step together hand in hand towards our goal is the only way we can achieve it.

So I wish you the very best in this endeavour of yours and hope to see you together in the new tomorrow

Hello,
Being a part of India's well known Entrepreneurship Cell of the most prestigious engineering college in India, I have interacted with many startup enthusiasts, have got to know how they think and what are some qualities that set them apart from the ones who are not able to see their idea through. Reading through your idea, I have realised that your idea has that spark which can help it become a successful venture. Coupled with its aim to help the society achieve its goals sustainably, your idea can be something quite helpful for the same.

But before it's implementation, you need to do a "pre-mortem" check on how it can fail. This would prepare you for any uncalled-for circumstances and help you prepare for them accordingly.

Lastly, I would like you to have a look at our idea, GreenSpace, and share your views about the same.

Regards,
Team GreenSpace.

Hi Nino,

This is a great application with high potential to help the children in primary school get exposed to after-class lessons in a funny and exciting way. Could you however explain what would justify charging only the private schools to pay a subscription fee other than students from public schools? I would rather suggest having free features and premium features. Then you use ads as part of your revenue streams and those subscribers interested to use premium classified features. Will the app allow playing it offline?

Great idea and wishing you all success.

I invite you kindly to comment my idea Path To Knowledge. I would be glad to hear your advice. I have written this message after I commented almost all ideas and projects and probably yours too. I am deeply sorry if this message bothered you, but everyone on this platform wants to go to the finals with his/her idea and makes all it is possible to get there. Maybe not all the actions are fair. Some participants copies the same message and paste it to all ideas. I just do marketing. Again, I am sorry if this message disturbed you.

Love this idea, I hope you can develop it further. Could be a fantastic solution to overcome today´s education challenges. Kids are so drown into technology + if they can really learn with it, win win.

Hello Katlego Sito ,

Thanks for suggestions, of course I am thinking on communication with different educational "stops". As for the gadgets - this will be provided by the project, itself.

Thanks for you feedback!

Hi Nino
Kids nowerdays are very good at games and they love them more than reading or studying.your idea simply means kids will learn while having fun which is good and I believe every kid will buy into that.though I would like to encourage you to present your idea to the department of education so that they can asses and approve it to be used by your intended target market.and I would also like to know if the gadgets are going to be provided by the kids or by your project
Best wishes

Hey Job,

This is exactly the idea of "Click" that you don't really have to be a genius in order to learn math or chemistry at school level. Anyways, student study them just the thing is how we provide them to easily access and not only verbal explanations were the part of teaching and learning methods.

Thanks you!

Good question Seth Thomas Anohwonom ,

This is one way for achieving success and choosing those subjects is due to statistics and researches which showed the less successful results while learning or achieving final grades at schools, from students side.

This was one of the reason choosing them.

Thanks!

Hello Aseel Abuhamda,

Thanks you and yes I have heard about kahoot , as well. Just the thing is that the idea of "Click" is different compared to kahoot but still tool might be useful! Absolutely agree with importance of education .

Thanks again!

Hello Nina, I just love your idea so much, but the questions that will remain after your idea is; how about the non- genius ones, I mean those who can't really study maths but social sciences? Maybe you should reconsider that part of it all, otherwise your idea is cool.
Regards,
Job

Hi Nino,
I like your idea and I wish you success in it.
My only question is "How do you think having Maths and Chemistry as the only subjects for your app be a true way to measure the level of quality education for children?"

Kind regards,
Seth

Wonderful idea Nino! Quality education is a necessity cause to fight for.

There is a game called Kahoot , we use at university that also involves interactive learning . I personally enjoy lectures when our professors let us play this game. Read about it. It can help you to have more ideas for implementation.

Best of luck,
Aseel

Hello Prathvi,

Thanks for you feedback, So I really think that, too!
As for this one "Visualising effect is better than reading"- I think it is the additional way in order to help children to understanding the particular subject in a simple way though it does not mean exlcusion of reading. So the balance is always important this is how I see it.
The app will be operated at classrooms, too.

Thanks again,
Kind Regars,
Nino

Good thinking Nino..I like the way that you are helping Georgian children. Visualising effect is better than reading,so keep it up.
Will everyone in that area have the smartphone to use your app.

Hello Oluwagbenga,

Sounds really interesting, I have always dreamed to have such lessons during my studies at school but in stead of that I had to overcome lot of theory and examples which might sometimes be hard to memorize for a long time.
So I will check your idea, too!

and of course all the best,

Nino

Hi Roza ,

Agree, lucky new generation, hope for my future family education with games in math and chemistry.
As for curriculum, there are some specific fields which can be easily suited to national one with specific tasks+vizual explanation before tasks
about costs - as this is long-term project it will require more and more human or financial resources but at the same time can be run and built while working on further developement
as for ready games, there are no such and especially in georgian language, so this is the innovative part of it

For sure , I will

Thanks for feedback!

Best wishes,
Nino

This is a wonderful idea. It will really change a lot of things in the educational system of the country if well implemented in that area.
Moreover, it is similar to my idea, because I am also walking on how to strike the balance in the educational system of my country.

Wishing you all the best.

Hi Nino,

That sounds so much fun, lucky new generations :) Though, I was wondering, is not the design of those games the actual challenge in this project? How are you going to develop games that match the curriculum? Wouldn't it be a costly project? Or are there any ready-to-use-games that you will need to only tailor up according to national curricula?

All the best,

Roza

P.S If you check out my idea, I appreciate some feedback from an intelligent and driven woman.

Hello,

Thank you and yes, quality education and equal access to the opportunities and especially in education this is the key aspect for my country and in general, as well.
As for further developement of subjects, why not! For now, according to the observation, those subjects are the most tough for students to memorize or remember for the longer period of time.
So in the future, let's see.

Thank you for interaction!
Best Wishes,
