Ageless Foundation's Teens and Youth Renovation.
Explain your project in details:
Promoting AGELESS FASHION HOUSE, AGELESS AGRO_INDUSTRY and AGELESS FASHION SCHOOL subsidiaries of AGELESS FOUNDATION whose main aim is to empower all teens and youth in Nigeria most especially the aspiring fashion designers. We also plan in enhancing the production of Nigeria-made fabrics and other raw materials for the textile industry by promoting Ageless Agro-Industry which aims at planting fibre crops e.g cotton, corn, bamboo, jute, mulberry, sisal, coconut etc and of animals e.g angora goat, sheep, angora rabbit etc for fibre, fur,etc while using the other products derived from them as another source of income, such as,delivering meat to the market, manufacturing cotton or coconut oil etc. The removal of the fashion industry from the degrading position she's been placed in Nigeria education system will be made possible by organizing a social Media campaign, creating online platform for aspiring fashion designers to come together, share ideas, receive free training, business training and sensitizing middle and high school students who'll in turn sensitize their parents. By creating awareness through word of mouth, social media and making known the aspect of free tuition to the entire public, both the privileged and less privileged will surely yield a great turnout. We'll make it fun filled and exclusive by encouraging them not to forsake their talents in the quest of fulfilling their passion for fashion by organizing an annual talent show. We'll also take a swift action on the garment mass production plan which will focus solely on male and female undergarments and children wears. Finally, AGELESS FASHION HOUSE will be distinct by her symbolic use of embroidery and beads in all her collections which is her way of bringing the African culture to life in the fashion industry.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
By training people, thus providing jobs for the them, poverty will be reduced. There'll be increase in the industrialization of Nigeria and reduction in the rate of people retiring and relying on the government to take care of them. There'll also be reduction in the rate of people dying on the Mediterranean sea with the quest of escaping the hardship in the country for a fairytale greener pastures. The trainees will be taken through serious and fun filled exercises and there'll be award for all participants based on their level of performance, since we don't want to continue the 'you're a failure if you don't pass mindset' and repeat the same mistakes they make in schools all over the world. In addition, external experts will be invited to lecture everybody about the know-how skills of business and the fashion industry. AGELESS FASHION SCHOOL first project is by reaching out to those in the rural areas with Her first training session taking place in Akodo,Ibeju lekki, a post-rural settlement in lagos state,Nigeria which is yielding a great turnout with over twenty students registering . High discipline measures will be taken to avoid discords, verbal abuse and nonchalant attitudes amidst trainees and all trainees must be between the ages of 10-25 since our loving arm is stretched to only the teenagers and youths.
Sustainability and future plans
AGELESS FOUNDATION'S vision is to turn around the youth world by 2023 and make AGELESS FASHION SCHOOL, AGELESS FASHION HOUSE and AGELESS AGRO_INDUSTRY a global industry accessible to all race, tribes and genders. As the industry increases, some of the potential trainees will be patnered with by the foundation and different departments will be introduced, such as the models arena, the natural hair stylist(who'll project the African hair and not waste fortunes on fake hairs), the photography department, millinery department, shoe and bag making department and lastly AGELESS MUSIC WORLD will be created (because aside business, everyone loves music). The male and female undergarments and children wears mass production plan will be 85% on the ladder of success by then. Finally, the financing source for now are from the income received from clothes sewn for clients, members contribution and sponsors and we believe that as time goes on,with thousands of people trained including the homeless and orpharned ,empowered by the Foundation;with the social media and schools campaign, with the settlement to settlement training sessions,Ageless fashion school will be a global institution thus paving the way for the rest of the foundation's project.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
I'm an 18yr old who grew up in a social setting where coming first in classes, winning prizes, going to the university to study an official course like medicine, engineering, getting a well paying and secure job is the order of the day;where my interest in studying fashion design was classified as me losing focus in my academics and being a rebel. Through various talks with my parent,I was able to convince them to allow me go to a fashion school but on the condition that it must be inexpensive close to home which was a mission impossible, until I met my current fashion instructor 'Mr Taofiq Ahmed' who's an humanitarian through my dad. He was my first mentor and I got my humanitarian spirit from him but I will say my passion for fashion design is inborn, while my zeal for agriculture came from watching my mother tend to her garden and me following her steps. My business motivations came from President Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki and my bold spirit was revived by my best Nigerian female fashion designer 'Miss Ejiro Amos Tafiri.
