Wars are won by weapons but it takes ideas to win peace, hence this idea Peace building through entrepreneurship support programmes is about harnessing human resource capacity development, human resource component and human resource element which leads to developing the requisite knowledge and skills that fosters and sustains peace. Peace building through entrepreneurship support programme is a proactive and reactive approach to conflict management and prevention. It is a process tailored towards building human resource component; it is an instrument of prospective and retrospective reconciliation from the micro to macro level of the society. It helps in changing the patterns of interactions from negative to positive engagements. It helps mitigate the likelihood of conflict. It is about taking in to account vulnerable groups and empowering them productively to engage meaningfully with the society. Peace building through entrepreneurship support programme helps cement the divide of peace and conflict and help to promote peace rather than to exacerbate conflict. It helps build economic relationship, addressing economic cause of conflict, reducing economic incentives for violence and supporting local private actors to build peace, grow trust and resolve disputes and weak relationship occasioned by poor economic position. It is about increasing youth employability through support with life sustaining skills, teaching financial literacy to aid income generating activities and mitigate conflict drivers. Skills acquisition programmes will be embarked on in vulnerable communities and seasoned craftsmen and technicians will be engaged for skills impartation. Entrepreneurship will helps promote social cohesion through economic opportunities. Activities that will be carried out in the skills acquisition components are Rice processing/milling, Cassava processing, goat/sheep farming, Snail farming, Fishing net making, Ginger drink production, Soya drink production, Catering service, Poultry farming, Restaurant business, Bar soap making, vegetable farming, Fruit juice making.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
The impact the entrepreneurship engagement will have is that it will serve as a life blood where restiveness abound and help make the people to become productive with their lives by reducing hunger and empowering women participation in economic processes. This project is important because it is lifesaving, an enabler of hope not seen and a vital question of living productively will be answered. The concrete deliverables which will become visible is that skills that have been acquired by the beneficiaries will be supported with seed capital that will enable them start up business. They beneficiaries will be adequately be supervised and properly guided with follow up reports on progress they have made.The major Impact the programme will have is that of empowerment for sustainability and productive living among the distressed youths of the nation by making theirs skills to redeem them from hunger and want.
Sustainability and future plans
This programme is tailored towards economic empowerment of some of the 'Bottom Billions' in Nigeria and consequently contributing to the GDP of the nation by teaching them requisite skills in small and medium scale business enterprises so as to enable them lead meaningful and productive lives . The sustainability and future deliverables which will become visible is that skills that have been acquired by the beneficiaries will be supported and not allowed to lie fallow with proper supervision and situation reports will be collated on weekly , monthly and quarterly basis to access the level of progress made in the enterprise. It will help reduce rural-urban migration which often makes them malinger aimlessly and finally join criminal networks. It will help in the development and deployment of local technologies, it will serve as transformative tool from hunger and empower women by arming the beneficiaries with problem solving skills on how their businesses can grow.

Projects; Many indigent students have benefited from the NGO sponsored 'Learn a craft programme' at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education, Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana Ebonyi State. As the NGO facilitator, I organized a football match competition with prisoners at Kuje medium prison Abuja on 29th September 2010 to help build in the inmates a sense of belonging, hope and meaning to their lives and help in preparing them for possible reintegration in to the Society . I worked briefly in Madonna University okija Anambra state (2008-2009). I equally worked briefly in National Parliament, Senate Committee on Labour and Productivity(NYSC)(2009-2010).
