Explain your idea in details:
Main objectives: My main objectives for this event center is to add to economic growth of the nation by helping the government generate more revenue and to provide job opportunities for youths in the country. Activities: In Nigeria, people are known for huge celebrations, we could put all we have to ensure we have a big celebration. Everyone wants to have a classy wedding, party or occasion, so they don't mind how much they spend in achieving that. This event center with a garden and a pool also helps clients to choose the kind of wedding or party they prefer, either an outdoor, indoor or pool party. Innovation: There are thousands of event centers in Nigeria but what makes Gray Events Center different is that it provides more services than any event center in Nigeria. It will have a built-in photography studio, a makeup studio, catering services, a game room for kids, an ushering unit and a party supply mall which would make it less stressful for clients because they'll have everything they need within the center without having to look around and it will be less time and money consuming. This event center with all these facilities would also provide it's clients with an event planner of great expertise if they choose.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
The expected impact of my idea on sustainable development is to create revenue for the government and creating decent job opportunities for unemployed youths. With an unemployment rate of 18.8% in Nigeria, the work of running a versatile event center with a makeup and photography studio, a garden, a pool, a party supply mall, catering service, a game room, ushers and an event planner would need a lot of expertise from some different creative fields to be able to achieve it, so this would create a huge spot for decent work for the youths. This would also improve on economic growth because it would serve as a source of revenue generation for the country by means of tax paying. We know that one Gray Marquees cannot serve the whole of Nigeria. Hence, Gray Marquees intends to spread first across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. Thereby, increasing employment opportunities and economic growth of the country.

I was born on 12th of December 1998. I am from a family of 7, 3 girls and 2 boys. I am currently an undergraduate, aspiring to gain admission into the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, to study Psychology. This business idea came up when I was 15 years old, my sister called me I one day and asked what I wanted to do for myself and the economy, so I thought about it and decided on a marquee event center and just not any type but classy. I arrived at this because I noticed how the people here love a huge and classy party not minding how much they spend on it, I also thought about how to reduce the level of stress that comes with planning a party, so I improved my idea by adding a makeup studio, a photography studio, catering services, an event planner, a garden(for clients interested in outdoor events), a party supply mall and a pool(for clients interested in pool parties). I also thought about how it would contribute to the economy of Nigeria, this brought about generating revenue and decent work for unemployed youths seeing that many hands will be needed to get the job done. My hobbies are singing, dancing, reading novels, and I love adventurous trips. I have a certificate for makeup artistry and special effects, I'm also good at advertising, I own an online store for selling human hair and wigs. I'm a fast learner and I love learning new things whenever I have the opportunity to.
