Parichay- Providing a new Identity
Explain your idea in details:
Even Amazons Saheli provides basic training on how to enlist and sell products online. Proper training on how to work, produce the handicrafts, refinement of the desired skills, etc. is still not into action. We at Parichay, focus on how to train female workers to work, use the equipment to produce the handicrafts and provide them a portal where they can sell their handmade products helping them to become micro entrepreneurs. We aim to provide training in the following major areas to help them refine their skills: beautician, boutique work, embroidery work, art and craft, basic stitching, basic computer skills, personality development. We would provide a separate portal for the producers to directly sell their handmade products, eliminating the role of retailers and wholesalers who add in their extra commissions on the same product and pay low cost to the producers. Training on how to use e-commerce portal and listing of products will be taught and Imaging and cataloguing services at zero cost: product photo shoot and product listing support to get a live account will be provided. We are planning that with use of Artificial Intelligence, speech recognition and deep thinking, people will able to feed input and get output in their own native language from the app/website and the portal will be multilingual.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Our targets would be the backward, remote and rural areas including women, girls and other government schools and NGO's where there is utmost need to make females candidates digitally literate through use of technology and make them trained so that they do not have to depend on others and can earn their own money and can contribute in family income. As we have mentioned that we are giving them a portal where they can directly sell their handmade products without interference of retailers and wholesalers, thus they can earn the real value for their product and we will not charging any commission on the sales made through this portal. Other training will be given like beautician, embroidery, art & craft, boutique work and will make them well trained so that they can start their own small business or shop. For this we can tie up or collaborate with different SHG's (Self Help Groups and NGO's) and women communities so that they can get maximum benefit through our program and we will also give workspace where they can work independently and will be provided with all the necessary resources to produce their product and sell them online/offline with proper marketing strategies so that this will promote gender equality and all female candidates will get their deserved respect in the society and thus we will empower them digitally. Women or people who are illiterate will also able to use the app/portal where they can search by speaking, the input will be taken by device in their own native language and will display images/graphics or products so that user can easily understand it and buy it. This will probably revolutionize rural areas. We will form SHG's( Self Help Groups) and will appoint a female coordinator who will help other females.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Our start-up idea will be funded by the government for the women empowerment training programme conducted by us. We are also in collaboration with Udaipur Vibes which provides a platform to the artists and bridges the gap between the art holders and the art seekers in the market. Under this collaboration, we provide platform to the female candidates to be trained as folk artists and both the male and female artists thus get a platform to showcase their talent and get hired. Also, some of our revenue will be generated by our collaboration with Udaipur Vibes wherein we will be providing the platform to the artists and by getting them hired. We are also planning to associate and collaborate with Self Help Groups of Womens and NGO's who are giving training to females and getting manufactured usable items from these women so that they can use the portal to sell their products and can earn the profit.
