Hygiene Promotion and Diseases prevention App
Explain your idea in details:
Access to quality and affordable health-care and clean water represents a major challenge in developing countries and some parts of the developed world, especially in local rural communities where the populations live more than 10 to 15 kilometers from a primary health care clinic or basic health facility and urban centers where the health facilities are stretched due to high populations or migration in the area. Poor government, health and economics policies, inadequate infrastructure, puts the population at risk especially women and children who may die from diseases associated with inadequate Health facilities, Contaminated or poor water supply and poor sanitation and hygiene. To help drive and achieve this idea the development of an App (Hygiene Promotion and Diseases prevention App) This app provides or will provide timely, applicable, actionable lifesaving and life changing information as AID to these communities which is essential to sustainable development. The app provides details on Endemic /Epidemic diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, polio, Ebola, measles, meningitis and HIV/AIDS, Zika ETC. These diseases have affected or is presently affecting communities in south Americas and Africa ETC. The app will provide information as aid and collects feedbacks from the community and these feedbacks will be used by the supported HNGO, NGO and the Government. Ultimately this will help the communities play an active role in building long term resilience by making them to become more knowledge and informed to act, which also brings about social change and sustainable development.
