Explain your idea in details:
In Tanzania less than 50% of small entrepreneurs graduate high while others collapse and 55% of female and 33% of youth are left behind in financial literacy and there are 51% women compare to 49% of men according to finscope 2017.And through that more young girls who are small entrepreneurs failed to grow their business as well to compete better in the market due to lack of skills of management of their money and poor understand of the industry they are going to enter.So KIJANAFACTORY help young girls who are small entrepreneurs by providing them financial and entrepreneurship lessons so as to be able to manage their money well and grow their businesses through online.Also we give them training so as to understand the industry their entering and advance in produce their businesses so as to compete better in the market through a platform which connect all young girls entrepreneurs . Our main objectives is to help young girls small entrepreneurs to advance in the market they in,and increase their income through understand of financial literacy so as can be able to build their own industries and factories and become role model in their societies.Also to give more power young girls in Africa that they can do it to make a world a better place. After teach and training them we gave them an opporturnity to access income from investors by showing what they are doing and impacts they brought in their societies through the platform which can invite investors to invest on their businesses or share something for them to increase and expand their businesses. For now we create a clubs in Secondary School to help girls to know more about finance and entrepreneurship so that can help the in the future.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
KIJANAFACTORY target young small entrepreneurs who have age between 15 to21 and for now we focus on whom lives in Dar Es salaam.We focus on that group because according to finscope 2017 there are 51% of female and 33% of youth left behind to get financial literacy and quater of Tanzanian people have age between 15 to 34 years old are underemployment so most of them engage in doing small business to get income to sustain their lives.So KIJANAFACTORY brings more impacts to Tanzanians as well as all Africans by help youth and mostly young girls to advance businesses and market and increase their income so as to fulfill their goal and dreams in life and make a world a better place.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
KIJANAFACTORY provide events twice per year which enable young girls small entrepreneurs to learn financial literacy and entrepreneurship through small amount charges which they will be paid and also give them training on how to run their businesses and an opportunity for them to access income from investors through showing what they are doing and impacts they brought in their societies.For now we will start will free charges no amount needed to learn financial lessons so as to market what we are doing but following time we will charge certain amounts. For coming year we will organize workshops per year for different young girls small entrepreneurs from different places to show what they are doing and we will charge certain amount for people who will selling their products and advitise their products such as big companies.For the first time there will be no charges for those who entering but as continue there will be certain charges. We will share some percentage from insurance companies as we help them get more customers.
Sandra A. Ruhizi she is young girl who born in the family of two girls, she is an entrepreneurs a founder of her project named KIJANAFACTORY which help girls small entrepreneurs to Step For Change by providing them financial skills and entrepreneurship. Also She is in coding club named AppsandGirls which help girls to code for change since form two. She is now a coder,programmer and an entrepreneur and she is in Form five Taking EGM[Economic, Geography and Mathematics] And she is now coding her website which will be online this year. She engaged in many thing which include STEM, she is in junior academy a platform which organize all student studying STEM online to find solution to global issues and 1000 Girls which help young girls who are passionate in STEM to fulfill their ambitions. She love designing and drawing house and tech entrepreneur. She dream to became an architect.
