Most of India's tap water is unfit for consumption and people get ill by drinking that water. Out of fear people and tourists who can afford opt for bottled water or stay dehydrated. Water-Hub solves these problems by providing purified water and naturally flavoured tasty beverages for affordable prices ensuring access to safe & affordable drinking water and Good health & well-being to its consumers - Supporting SDGs #3 #6. Plans for implementation and sustainability
After working on my initial idea and researching online and in my locality, I developed a basic design based on my idea, presently available solutions and valuable feedback from users. I want to hire a professional designer and create a simple and modular design using my inputs such that the product is compact, ease in operating and repairability, long-lasting and affordable. Now create a preliminary model using the obtained design and evaluate in the real world looking for errors and developments that can be made. Take feedback of users on the prototype and refine & prioritize the well-proven ideas. Next Licenses & Permits; Real Estate & Inventory; Hiring & Training skilled personnel; Manufacturing; Costing; Marketing & Distribution; Service & Customer-support. All our products will be supplied to the middle market, using Water-Hub they provide users with safe and tasty beverages (hot/cold). We have to provide with website, app & tollfree customer care phone number (as major % of users are poor and uneducated) to order and contact Water-Hub. SUSTAINABILITY: As Water-hubs Market is large and the profit margin is high (For beverages business has an average cost of 20-25 % which results in a gross margin of 75 to 80 per cent and this divided between retailers and producers NET-PROFIT: 35-40%) the company will self-sustain for long period of time. Although initial costs are high, Break-even point can be achieved faster because of regenerating revenue model and high profits. FINANCING: The Government of India has undertaken several initiatives and a wide spectrum of new programmes in the recent years like Start-up INDIA, Make in India, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Food Processing Summit etc... to provide economic support to entrepreneurs, by providing loans and collaborating with capitalists to invest in start-ups.
I am 24 years old ( DOB: 24 08 1993 ) typical Indian and was born & raised in a middle-class business family. I used to work at our shop after school since my high school and developed an interest in business and how things are made and work. Out of that interest, I pursued my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and wanted to do management studies. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and treated with a kidney transplant. After recovering I joined my family business for a full time and made quite a few improvements to our business with my persuasion and management skills. It is running well and I am doing good & earning sufficient. But good is not enough for me, I want to live great like a true entrepreneur. Serious problems across the world and the pace of innovation motivated me to start my entrepreneurial journey. I take inspiration from everything around me absorbing positive energy and neglecting to negativity. My mother is my role model and mentor, I learnt how to get organised, stay focused and work hard from her. I look every product in both business and user perspective as I deal with a large and distinctive group of customers. When I read the news a lot of sensible issues move me like lack of food, water, education, unemployment & Inequality, poverty, climate change etc.. I have ideas which can solve some of these issues up to great extent and create a business which can make some profits. Water-Hub is one of the best among them and readily implementable with large market providing clean water, reduce pollution and create employment. By promoting this project, you encourage Young Entrepreneurial Spirit, Farmer's effort, Employment & Self-employability, Health of society, Earth sustainability.
