Explain your idea in details:
Get Healthy seeks to deliver healthy and nutritious food to every home both locally and globally through the provision of organically processed based foods. Get Healthy in the first twelve (12) months of production will produce two(2) main combination of cereal porridge to homes and shops first in my community, nearby communities and one region in my country. There will be an add on of other varieties as and when the market is conducive. I will innovate in the area of packaging by adding a sealed twenty (20) grams of either honey, seasamen seeds or brown sugar in every foil plated pack of cereal mix.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Get Healthy will work towards the Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 3 by making it product available at a price safe for every pocket. Every cereal will contain an added value of a twenty (20) gram of either brown sugar, honey or seasamen seeds which will help boost the immune system of it consumers and will at the long run contribute towards the increase in good health and well-being. Considering my country Ghana and Africa as a whole, most women and children suffer from poor nutrition because of poverty. I therefore have my target market to be children between the ages of six (6) months to fifteen (15) years and women between the ages of fifteen (15) to sixty (60) years. Within the first twelve (12) months of production, Get Healthy will produce it product at an affordable price for a minimum of seventy(70%) of women and children in my community and nearby communities.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
In the first twelve months of production, Get Healthy will use the direct sales model to create awareness of it product in my community and other communities as well. Fairs will be organized in specific communities whiles taking advantage of the social media as well to create awareness and increase sales. As the product settles with the people, Get Healthy will collaborate with Malls, Pharmacies, supermarket and shops in the targeted communities to help sales. Though the name Get Healthy has been registered financing production will be secured from savings, Angel investors and family and friends . Get Healthy will also collaborate with the Youth in Agriculture in her country to ensure constant supply of it raw materials whiles preparing to setup her own farm.
