Explain your idea in details:
The commercial bee keeping shall take place at Ikungi district (Makiungu village) in Singida region, we expect the output to be goods due the good team to implement the project with thirst of success. One hectare can yield about 500 kilograms if the modern methods of commercial bee keeping used so we expect to youths to gain much from the project and changes their lives status hence increase job opportunities. The project shall provide financial management, project management skills, preparation of the land, harvesting and until packaging of the products to the markets. So the project like this will facilitate the efforts of the government of creating job opportunities especially youths including graduates eventually free Tanzania with poverty. This project proposal is therefore in immediate financial support of a total of is US$8942 for one hectare, and the return of the project per year cannot be less than US$15000 for one hectare so as to be able to implement and achieve the aforementioned goals. The project will be implemented at Ikungi district (Makiungu village) in Singida under the supervision of the organization and partners.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
The organization believe that Tanzania has many opportunities in utilization of natural resources.The organization target to have the campaign about commercial bee keeping improving the living standard also the population increase rapidly. We are self-committed and we come from the groups of youths who are full of challenges, so this is enough for us to make big steps toward our objectives within the short time which leads to the following i) The project is to present youth with an avenue to explore their creative ability based on apiculture and provide them with an atmosphere for self-employment which in turn might give rise to national economy. ii) To provide entrepreneurship training to group of youth basically on how to process whatever comes from the farm into monetary value. iv)To provide financial management educations to the youth engaging in the project through seminars and workshop so that they be capable of managing and budgeting the funds earned from the project. v) To give priorities to girls who participate in bee keeping by motivating them and inspiriting them through successful women. vi)To promote and enhance youth untapped potential as a way forward towards sustainable growth through apiculture initiative. vii) Bees pollinate crops hence this directly boost crop yields and increase house hold income viii) To review specific means that can be used to unleash the necessity of bee keeping sustainability and its needs as the core initiative certain stable community.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Here goes the core activities that every participant of bee keeping must undergo; there might be some others activities as per directives of the project manager. Youths will be divided into four groups of five persons and shall be engaged in the following Commercial bee keeping activities: Fencing the land Land preparation A forestation and Reforestation Cultivation of the prepared land Harvesting Packaging Any relating bee keeping activity which might be considered necessary in a specified way.
