'Grabage - Our Business is always Picking up
Explain your idea in details:
Objective: While saving the environment is our main objective, Grabage aims to make waste management quicker, and convenient for the common man and see that the right kind of waste is directed in the right type of recycling. Activities - Firstly, we will tackle the problem of segregation, collection of the waste and transporting it to the recycling units. We will check the process of waste management in Delhi by creating a formal platform, forming a network of the primors (the people we will employ to collect the waste), customers and recycling units. We will train our primors, give basic knowledge about how to use the app that we have designed, and provide them with smartphones if required. Other incentives include job security, paid leaves. The process will be consumer friendly; timely, verified pickup, convenient, rewarding and time saving. Any inconvenience faced by the customer will be mitigated by our customer service care service, which will be in operation 24*7. The process for waste collection has been explained in the flowchart attached. Innovative Approaches - The app that we will develop will be a major part of this project as it is through this app that we will connect our primors and the customers. A flowchart for the functioning of the app is attached. After the waste is collected by the primors, it will be taken to collection centers. We have divided Delhi into 4 zones (diagram attached). Each zone will have 2 collection centers, strategically located to accommodate each area in the zone. 25 primors will be employed for every collection centre. Waste from each collection centre will be sent every 15 days for recycling. Sale of the recycled products - “Grabage Goodies” will be done via our app.
