Statement of the Problem Forest degradation which is one of the major contributing factors to Climate Change indiscriminate killing of wild animals, poor solid waste management in our cities and towns, lack of proper sanitation, all attest to the fact that there is a need to combat those environmental issues. The environment needs to be clean for good health and that is why CEYA have decided to raise awareness on sanitation, Sustainable Environmental Management and hygiene practices. Objectives 1. Create monthly inter-generational, Sanitation and Hygiene Assess Talk (SHAT), meetings in 3 schools in duport road that increases sanitation and hygiene practices thereby fostering for eco environment; 2. Inspire Liberians to become a good waste manager; recycling; 3. In Institutions, establish environmental clubs that focus on sanitation,Sustainable Environmental Management and hygiene practices 4. General Clean up Campaigns making sure the communities are clean Direct Beneficiaries The schools will benefit directly because the project site is in that community. Target Schools Weltona High school Nathan E.Gabson High School John N.Lewis United Methodist High School Kingdom Builders Foundation Institute Indirect Beneficiaries Many educational lessons, questions, answers sessions will be conducted on radio and more than ten thousand people across the country will benefit, including youth groups, women association, students and volunteers. Project Sustainability In order to ensure the project will be sustain after donor funds, we will negotiate with those schools who will be direct beneficiaries to Contribute a minimum amount to help sustain the project within their school and we will also use our radio program

Overall Goals of the Project The overall goal of the project is to establish an environmentally aware culture in Liberia through research & education and action of a youth led sustainability movement thereby creating a clean and healthy environment. This will also bring lots of transformation to lives about sustaining and protecting the environment.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The Project is a short term that runs for 4 months from March to July March 1st to March 15 --------------- General Community Awareness March 16 to April 15 ----------------------- Trainings, establishment of E-clubs and Radio Talk Show April 15 to May 1st ------------------------ Providing Alternatives which are: Dustbin, hand washing facilities ect. May 2 to 31 . General Clean up to ensure a clean environment June 1 to 15 ------------- Project Assessment Draft Report August 1 to 3 June 16 to July 1 ------------------- Final Report
