kienyeji chicken farming
Explain your idea in details:
my idea mainly its to reduce the high cases of cancer and other related diseases caused bu the eating habits.Consider when people drive into a drive in and only ask for chicken and chips, they don't follow how the chicken that they eat was raised or even cooked.we want to provide pure and fresh meat that is chemical and hard metal free such as magnesium that cause disease.By doing this,we will encourage those people from rural areas to farm in large quantities the local and traditional chicken thereby reducing cases of unemployment and the menace of hunger.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
my main target are those people who live on towns who mainly feed on food that they call take aways. They dont have much time to concentrate on what they eat,all they are after is satisfaction.if we provide this chemical free chicken, diseases will reduce, unemployment will reduce, negative social activities such as drugs and crimes will reduce because the youths will be kept busy, it will also create market for the meat and other related traditional foods.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
mainly the business will entail solo work because of the concentration needed, but also consult the medical officer who can help in controlling diseases that may affect the chicken leading to low production of either eggs or meat. The local government will be involved to create an enabling environment for the business tho thrive well, this will include licencing and offering education to farmers on how to improve production. Financing mostly will be on acquiring the chicken, building structures for the chicken, sourcing for power and getting the proper feeds that are chemical free.
My name is John Njanja Nduati,am aged 23year and am a third year student at Moi university taking a bachelor degree in education.what motivated me to think about local kienyeji farming is that i had friends who only took much chicken raised with chemicals to boost their growth and one passed away due to cancer, the other friend suffered obesity, this factors made me to think about offering meat that is chemical free so that other people can not die. Also the high level of unemployment among the university graduates who only focus on white collar jobs forgetting about farming. My goal is that once i complete my degree i can have full time to cater for my chicken.
