Produce what we consume to have a healthy economy.
Explain your idea in details:
In order to reduce the high importation of rice in Liberia and end poverty and unemployment, I want to establish a rice industry in Liberia. This industry will empower local farmers by creating all necessary equipment needed for production. Technological innovation will also be introduce to the rice industry in this sector. Training will be provided for all employees to provide them with the insight of producing a quality rice for a healthy economic. More jobs opportunity will be provided and there will be no discrimination.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
My target is minimizing the high importation of rice into the country. It is to empower and develop great entrepreneurs and eradicate poverty in all it form's. The measure that will be use to evaluate the success achieve in this business is statistics. When the 4% of unemployment rate is drop. It will be measure when Liberia spend less than US $200 million on rice importation like she does now. Success will be achieve when the 1 million people that live in extreme poverty in Liberia number decrease. When local farmers are actively involve in commercial farming than subsistence farming. These are the criteria that will be use to measure success.
