Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Rural India contains over 68% of India's total population, and half of all residents of rural areas live below the poverty line, struggling for better and easy access to health care and services. According to the World Bank, only 25% of India's population had some form of health insurance in 2010. A 2014 Indian government study found this to be an over-estimate and claimed that only about 17% of India's population was insured. Our main target community will be the rural and far-flung areas which are still untapped area by healthcare sector and these areas need a well thought, efficient and highly organised single point of contact healthcare solution on urgent basis because rural areas are having 68% of our total population but having only 2% of registered doctors. We can also target urban population with minimal cost as not much of advertisement will be required in urban area. Urban community is well aware about the all health schemes and issues but we will take the advantage of decentralized health sector by providing all health related solutions under one roof as differentiator.
