Objectives - Create an innovative means of generating cooking gas, NPK rich fertilizers through organic waste processing (Biogas Digester) - solve the existing problem of waste management in the target environment - save and reduce capital cost for waste management - provide a productive and innovative way to reduce the green house effect gases - to turn every household and farms into a waste management agency - partner with government agencies and organised communities to pick, manage and put all organic waste to productive use. (Biogas production for power generation and large scale affordable and natural fertilizers for farmers) Activities and Innovative approaches: An irresistible and innovative structure for Waste collections, waste processing and recycling (Biogas production for both medium scale and domestics use) enlightenment and training for the populace of the target area, clubs and societies in schools and institution of learning, exhibitions and seminars for members of the community, including farmers, land owners, civil servants and government agencies.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Impacts - Alternative source of Power generation - Increase in farm produce harvest - Clean environment - Reduction of green house effect gases in the atmosphere - Provide employment and business opportunities - Methane rich gas that can be produced in every household without causing any hazard to the community - Open a gateway for infrastructural development and new industries. Targets - Provide over 5000 homes with an alternative source of waste management and energy source - Produce additional research that will add an adequate body of knowledge into the existing works on electricity generation in the environment. And partnering with the government agencies and corporate bodies to use this research result for development of the project. - Reduce the green house effect gases emission by 20% in the first year of the project and continuous reduction until it is reduced to less than 10% emission in 5 years (In the target area) - Provide 50% of the farmers in the environment with Natural NPK rich fertilizers in the first year of the project and reach over 90% within the first three years - Train 10,000 students and young people on biogas production for the sole aim of waste management, domestic gas production and future large scale projects.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Our Business Model will take the form of a manufacturer, because we will be recycling waste and producing gas, fertilizers, plus an in-depth research into converting the gas to electricity. The source of finances will be grants, collaborations, partnerships and part of our organizations income. We will be collaborating with Agricultural, Educational, Technological and Governmental organisations.
I am a 28 years old result oriented Business Developer with over 7 years significant and progressive experience. Possessing a track record in helping to optimize operational processes, by providing qualitative and excellent business development strategies, whilst maximising profit within a challenging fast paced environment requiring high degree of communication, diligence and flair in addition to meeting tight deadlines.
