Summary of your idea
Filipinos pursuing tertiary education have seen a decline over the years. As prices soar, many are forced to pause or stop their education in favour of immediate employment. Of those who chose the longer path, they are met with many challenges to overcome. This website hopes to lighten the financial burden that comes with tertiary education and expose the students to opportunities that would benefit them in the long run. StudentCafe.PH is a website that sits on three objectives that are analogous to its functionality: (1) Generate crowd-sourced content that will help students make the most out of their college years. It will act as an online bulletin board for all students where they can share, view, sync in their calendar events, conferences, fairs, seminars, and scholarships that they are interested in taking part in. (2) Serve as a platform for students to get more affordable educational resources and other deals that would be beneficial in their education Alerts for book sales, school-related materials, food supplies, clothing will be seeded to aid cash-strapped students in the purchase of implements needed for school. (3) Build a community and network for students - As a virtual "campfire", students will be encouraged to share ideas, issues, and discuss it among each other through an online forum offering that is customized for them.
