Summary of your idea

Callad is a smart phone application that displays advert during an incoming call or when the user receives an SMS. There is an option for the user to skip the advert and view it later after either receiving the call or rejecting it. To make the ads relevant and less intrusive subscribers can set the type type of ads they want to see and the times those ads should be displayed. Once the users have earned enough money they can request for the money to be transferred to them via money or visit the company's agents or office to redeem their money.

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

Calladd basically targets the youth in developing countries who uses smartphones. With the increasing use of smartphones among the youth calladd aims at harnessing the business opportunity that it creates by developing a solution that empowers both the developers and the users of the application financially thereby reducing poverty.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

Calladd runs on a revenue sharing model between the users of the application and itself. By agreeing to use the application, subscribers are given a share of the revenue generated by displaying ads on their mobile devices. Currently the idea is self financed from the founders income.
