Summary of your idea

The main objectives of BFARI would be to ensure food supply in season and out season, to offer raw materials for industry, to run a mechanized integrated automated farm the first in Nigeria, to be a consultant to emerging farms, to offer agricultural workshop and seminars, help on Initial agricultural assessment of a particular site location, provide suitable crop recommendations, offer agricultural financial viability assessment, Agricultural Project Planning, Quotations Assessment and Delivery Logistics of agricultural equipment, Farm Site Construction Supervision, training Programs for Local Farmer, co-operate bodies, individuals, students etc, embark on Agricultural projects for farms, schools, companies and communities, offer quality Agricultural products from our farm to your kitchen, restaurants, hotels, offices, help maintain your farm for optimum productivity, design and fabricate Agricultural implements and machines

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

BFARI would be able to meet man basic needs (food) by harnessing the potential in Agriculture through cultivation and rearing of plant and animals. BFARI would also improve the quality of life of individuals through her in-depth research in her agricultural products by diversification to bring in new innovation from existing ones. our measure to evaluate success would be our ability to achieve our set goals and objectives adhering to our vision and mission.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

The SLIM START UP MODEL would be used as BFARI business model, under this model,we would start small and grow big. Excess expensive would be cut off (starting slim) and our business implementation would also be in Phases. Financing would come from saving and since the business would be in phases, profits gotten from a phase would be reinvested in the next phase. we would collaborate with local communities through embarking on a symbiosis relationship, whereby they lease their land to us and we employ their youth in our agribusiness there in their community and also help develop the community

A self- motivated individual with proficiency in a variety of skills and strong desire to excel especially in a challenging industry like Agriculture. My strength lies in my rational faculty, innovations, Researches, resourcefulness, team dedicated to duty, vision, and willingness to accept corrections and above all, a team leader and player. I have two years working in the Agricultural sector.Worked for credo farms and multipurpose Abak, Worked for Papa N Gold integrated service limited and helped in starting and managing maize /cassava farm, prepared budgets for the farm activities, made research, monitored and managed the farm and people working under me. A dynamic, articulate and resourceful young man with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. A certified project Manager and also a graduate of Agricultural Engineering

That's Nice one.... Especially now that Nigerian Agricultural sector needs the involvement of youths in Agriculture... I do recommend your idea, but you also have to look into key areas like legal, fixed asset availability, linkages with already existing Agricultural Companies basically SME, and support group, like NAIC and other Agricultural Bodies within Nigeria, I think we are going somewhere....... Nice one
