Summary of your idea

We will manufacture and market quality syringes at cheap prices . In order to achieve these, we will outsource the whole manufacturing process and packaging to contract manufacturers who will produce and ship these products to our target customers. Our company's main task will be to coordinate and organize the entire process. This arrangement is known to be cost effective and reduce business risks.

Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development

We seek to have at least five local distributors as our customer base in the first year. We will also seek to sell at least one million syringes at the end of the first year. After five years, we should have had a 40-50% market share of the syringe market in Nigeria. We believe that in the long term, our quality but cheap medical products will also help to reduce the cost of healthcare provision in our Country.

Plans for implementation and sustainability

We are seeking for a business grant in order to start up our business. We will outsource the whole manufacturing process to established contract manufacturers and market them directly to local distributors. We will establish contact with a few contract manufacturers in order to obtain quotations. We will also need an approval from our Country's regulatory bodies in order to sell our products. We will commence marketing of our products following careful selection of a good contract manufacturer and approval from the appropriate bodies.
