Give a skill to a slum child.
Explain your project in details:
The main objective is to eradicate poverty by improving the lives of slum dwellers through empowering them with skills. They use the skill to create job opportunities as well as to tell their stories in the slums, the place they call home.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
We have trained over 400 children and at least 270 of them are practising and supporting themselves and also supporting the initiative to train more youth in the slum.
Sustainability and future plans
Through training we have attracted many youth on board and they support the organisation. Every job they do is under the organisation. We do take 5 percent of their job income to keep the initiative running. The more we train and mentor them into photography/video production the more we get to support the initiative.
