HONEY PURIFIED is a leading youth driven honey processing firm in Nigeria. We process, brand and package natural honey products for supply in Nigeria. We provide consumers with high quality and affordable, processed and well packaged organic honey. We partner with rural bee keepers in both Nigeria and Cameroon so we can meet the high demand for unadulterated honey from consumers nationwide. Our honey products are packaged in varieties of bottles ranging from one liter to 20 liter containers. All our products are well filtered, sealed and purified by experts with the help of new technology equipment, with a view to maintaining high quality standard, product purity and originality. The key element in purchase decision of our customers is the quality of our products. This is a brand of honey that customers have found to be 100% pure (unadulterated). Therefore, as a company, we have taken it as our core responsibility to maintain the level of quality of our products so as to entice our customers for continuous patronage. VIABILITY OF THE HONEY BUSINESS IN NIGERIA: Studies have shown that honey is highly medicinal and people use it for different health benefits. Due to the high prevalence of health problems like diabetes and other sugar related diseases in Nigeria, people have seen it a necessity to substitute sugar with honey as a measure to preventing these diseases. Even the healthy persons in the society today have been declining interest in taking sugar for fear of getting affected by these sugar diseases. As a result of these, the demand for unadulterated honey has become very high in the Nigerian market places and this has contributing in making the business more viable and lucrative.

Goal 1: Poverty eradication. We will meet this goal by creating jobs for the unemployed youths in Nigeria, including males and females. Goal 3: To ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. We will meet this goal by ensuring that we supply our customers with 100% pure unadulterated honey products that are certified by the regulating authorities like National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON). Goal 8: Promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. We will meet this goal by employing youths, paying revenues to the government and engaging in Corporate Social responsibility as well as creating a conducive work environment employees; both males and females. Goal 9: Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and fostering innovation. We will meet this goal because my business idea is innovative and as such we will keep introducing innovative ideas that will lead to our sustainable growth in the industry which will bring about industrial revolutions in the society where we operate our business. Goal 12: Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns. We will surely meet this goal also because our production pattern has been in line with this goal. Our products have been of higher standard and our goal have been to give our customers honey products that are fit for human consumption, hence we are working on getting NAFDAC and SON certification. We will use Outcome Evaluation Model to measure the success result. This technique uses observations, interviews and questionnaires to assess and determine the success result of a particular project that is initiated for a change.

Our marketing and sales strategy is to ensure that our products get a wider coverage in Nigeria. We plan to have distributors across states of the federation so we may boost sales and maximize profit. We will also spend more in engaging online advertisement with a view to multiplying our sales volume. We will engage Facebook ads, Google ads, online business directories and other social media platforms to enhance our products visibility online so we may get a very extensive customer base. We also leverage on referral commissions where we will reward everyone that refers customers to buy our products. FINANCIAL SOURCE: Our financial source has been personal savings and the revenues we generate from the business, but we are hoping to access grants from donors so we may expand our business. Our plan is to become the leading honey processing firm in Nigeria by the year 2020. Our value proposition is to satisfy our customers by giving them value for their money. The efforts you have taken to bring up this idea is stupendous and inspiring many budding entrepreneurs like me. We are competitors just for the sake of this competition, but on a broader picture we all are the future reformers and businessmen/ businesswomen. We shall be proud of ourselves as we are not selfish to think only about money earning, instead we integrate the talent with a Sustainable development goals and that is really commendable and a rarity in this generation. We as a whole set an example to various other budding entrepreneurs and make them feel that "Think Good Be Good Live Good".
