I love your idea
I heard a similar idea like yours when I am pursuing my degree in GITAM Visakhapatnam where the creator used some sensors ( like parking sensors which vibrate and produce sound when approaching a obstacle ) in footwear instead of band . He started working that idea collabrating with some company during his degree.

This seems to be a really exciting project. Not many startups coming out with a viable proposition and solutions for our visually impaired citizens. The vision of this entity seems promising.
