Production of fermented cassava flour with high glycemic response for diabetic patients
Explain your project in details:
The main objective of this project is to manage diabetics. This intend to be achieved through the production of fermented cassava flour which has been discovered to have high glycemic response, sugar control, low in sodium, gluten-free food and also rich in energy and fiber without fats and oils. The fermented cassava flour as a result of fermentation have more nutrients in form of beneficial bacteria which aids in digestion.

This enterprise will aid in the achievement of the goal 3 of the SDGs. As it will help to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing of people especially people living with diabetics
Sustainability and future plans
The business model that will be adopted is the direct sales method. Financing source will be from personal savings, family and friends. The venture, in the next 3 years will be one of the biggest fermented cassava flour production company.
Your profile as an entrepreneur
I am 27 years old. I am a Nigerian and an advocate of good health and quality education. I received an award of the over all best graduated student of the Tai Solarin University of Education in 2016 and also got an award of recognition from the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun. I am a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and have participated in alot of community development services such as health enlightenment campaigns and promotion of quality education in my community.
