EAIS's main objectives are to Provide accessible affordable and flexible high quality education Create and maintain interest in education at a tender age Provide a platform to bridge complement and upgrade skills Increase learner prospects of employability Add a wider African development context through addressing the shortage of qualified mid-level to senior management staff Embed an African approach to solving African problems in context Center around developing coaches mentors and leaders that will in future coach and mentor others post qualification and training to promote self sustainability. Educating Africa International School's target market is categorized into three main categories which are Primary and Secondary Education (All Subjects) Professional Corporate Skills Development and Training for individuals and organizations E-Learning Computer Based Learning ( Exam preparation courses Short E-Courses in Entrepreneurship and Personal Development) Our vision at EAIS is to adopt incorporate and implement amongst other indicators the following indicators of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Education as our 3 pillars to demonstrate the impact of our work by Ensuring that all girls and boys complete free equitable and quality primary and secondary education Ensuring that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development and pre primary education Ensuring equal access for all women and men to affordable quality technical and vocational and tertiary education
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Any Desktop Mobile or Tablet (IOS) and (Android) owner can use and interact with our platform. EAIS has chosen to adopt the freemium revenue model (Freemium a pricing strategy by which a product or service is provided free of charge but money (premium) is charged for additional features services or virtual (online) or physical (offline) goods. Learning materials will primarily remain free of charge for users. Free users will access our portal with ads being displayed while premium users who subscribe will access the portal with an ad free experience. Users will pay because we are of the belief that our content will be of superior quality, with an African footprint and not just focused on video only as our competitors. Financing will be acquired through angel investors for which there are currently two that have shown interest as well as seed funding from entrepreneurship incubators and government grants.
Brian Hlongwane is a 29 year old Business Management Honors graduate from the University of the Free State 2014. He is also a Business and Personal Development Coach Educator Entrepreneur Mentor Leader and Public Speaker. He is an alumna of the Activate Change Drivers Program Young African Leaders Initiative RLC Online Cohort 5 and the Commonwealth 100 Open Source Leadership MOGi Global Leadership School Cohort 6. He is currently enrolled for the Switch Entrepreneurship Programme for the 2019 Cohort.
