The Nigerian society is one that requires individuals to get skills to survive. Despite the large skill acquisition programmes organised, the gap between the rich and poor is still wide. The middle class seems not to exist any longer in our society. This means people are getting skilled but lack the ability to transform their skills to money. For this reason, the TUPLE MARKET idea is brought forward. Tuple market brings a balance among the 3 recognised scale of business: small scale, medium scale and large scale.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
This idea when it comes through will boost sales of registered SMEs by over 50%. It would reduce unemployment drastically as many skilled youths will start to utilize their skills to make money This will also reduce the gap between the rich and poor in the society. In security, there will be less thief and robbery. It would reduce exceedingly d rate at which people commits suicide due to lack of hope. This modern form (idea) of marketing using computer algorithm give hope of better life to consumers and producers.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
In order to make this idea achievable, I have been able to gather like-minds with skills in areas like graphic design, programming, Android Application Development, Data Analysis, website design and development, cyber security and marketing. The aim is to build an online platform accessible to all, easy to use and user-friendly. This will make it easy for individuals to be able to carry out their trades online and with ease. Currently, there is no main source for funds. The little grounds we've broken is from personal dedication and contribution.
I am currently 25 years old. My place of origin is Ondo state but I was born, living and studying in Ibadan, Oyo state. My motivation comes from trying to make the world a better place for living. I have National Diploma from Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan.Currently, I am the President of my departmental student body, Agricultural & Environmental Engineering Students' Society, University of Ibadan.
