Well, almost everyone from the campus has been giving an emotional speech, I will try to not be long with mine..A big THANKS to all of you for all the support you have granted me since day one and which has been pushing me to do better each time. This journey has been long- about 4 months, but we have learnt so many things here, from both negative and positive experiences. There has been many ups and downs, but we know we did our best, we supported as many idea/projects we could. Sometimes the blue bar motivated us, sometimes it did the reverse. I, personally obtained so many benefits from the campus, ranging from the online training, blogs, ideas/projects, to knowing myself as an entrepreneur, learning more about innovation and creativity, borrowing and the list goes on and on, but the most amazing thing was making so many friends.

You believed in my idea PERMACULTURE, hence you believe in NATURE. Healthy production and consumption of food through permaculture started as a bud in my head when I saw how bad agricultural purposes are causing damage to our planet. We need sustainable actions for our planet. We are nature and we need to protect nature, without which we cease to exist. THANKS!

Momentum is what drives entrepreneurs, and letting an idea or project go stale or be pushed to the back burner could subconsciously de-prioritize it, which in most cases, means it will never see the light of day.

When I was in third grade, we had a mandatory environmental Science class. The only thing i remember from that class, was when our teacher told us, 8 years olds, that the water table was falling by almost 2 feet ever year and Lake Victoria as drying up as the water levels were reducing significantly. For me, this fact suddenly converted this abstract idea of sustainable development into a very real problem that has affected many communities and people.

Quality Education is very pertinent because it breaks the barriers of the process of poverty and gender inequality, likewise, promote an inclusive society. By providing access to quality education, people can be more educated in their communities and also it brings about social change and enterprise. Our project promotes SDGs 4 and 8 in that, we are on a mission to train at least 2 out of school children annually which means one year of basic schooling for a child currently out of school and at least 300 youths yearly thereby, promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Winning is very good but winning together is much better. I mean that we are all winning if you strive enought to make your project run well. Your first strenght is yourself because nobody would believe in this project if you are not motivated enought to make it real through it all.

For me, I believe that first I ask and think about my product/service, that is how is my product better than those offered by competitors, why will people buy it?

The c as mpya life must steal some good time from your a couple of days. Let's start with the emails. Receiving a comment is an email. Sending a comment is another email. The more people you network with, the more the emails. If you do not delete these, they will jam your account and you may not see a very important email in time.

Communication as one of the keys to effective leadership is not only the necessary criteria for being an effective leader. Leadership learning is another factor effective and great leaders need to understand. As people, we can learn by insight, by doing and by sharing. Constant learning is a very critical ingredient to becoming a great and effective leader. Second, another factor necessary for being an effective leader aside from communication is the act of welcoming and/or entertaining feedback. As the popular saying goes "No man is an island" the same is true for being an effective leader.

Leadership effectiveness starts with harnessing the habit of welcoming feedbacks from people. These people can be your employees, friends and family, etc. By forming the habit of entertaining feedback you are one step ahead of being a great leader. Employing other peoples opinion will bring about team sharing and shared leadership, transparent and open participation and above all, collaborative learning.

Finally, as leaders and/or emerging leaders, constant learning either self-taught, through e-learning, counselling/mentoring/coaching/training and the inherent attitude of welcoming open collaboration and idea sharing are also a necessary criterion to being an effective leader and, in turn, a great step to becoming great leaders (Blessing Ikiseh)
