Explain your idea in details:
The Palmsmith SmartWays is tokenizing the urban transit solutions and we are utilizing aerial cable car. We will be achieving this by creating and deploying smart contract and execution of an ICO using the blockchain technology. Palmsmith SmartWays aerial cable urban transportation solution aims to solve the problem of traffic congestions in metropolis across Africa. This project also will be reducing the need for too many commercial vehicles on the road thereby reducing carbon footprints across Africa. Another problem this solution will be tackling is the inadequate commercial vehicle in metropolises across Africa. Priority route: in Abuja, Nigeria we have carefully carried out a preliminary route alignment for the Wuse AYA Nyaya Mararaba axis. Project Goals: One of our major goals is to contribute to solving the global warming challenge in the world. We intend to achieve this by reducing commercial vehicles on the road. This will naturally occur when our solution is up and running. By so doing we would have contributed to reducing carbon emissions which are one of the predominant causes of global warming. Another goal we would like to accomplish is to reduce poverty in the countries where our projects will be sighted across Africa. Aside from creating jobs for skilled and unskilled labour, we will be making it possible for low-income earners across Africa to share in the profit that our business will be generating through smart contract and ICO using the blockchain technology thereby contributing in making them financially secure.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Some expected impacts of our urban transport solution are; Economic impact: we will be contributing to the National GDP of the countries in which our projects will be operational; an estimated 2.2% is expected to be added. We would also improve the general productivity of the citizenry in the area by reducing commuting challenges caused by traffic congestions. Environmental impact: this project will help reduce noise pollution and carbon footprints and other environmental waste contributed by commercial vehicles thereby contributing to reducing global warming. Social impact: our project helps to connect different parts of the city geographically and culturally, and help commuters move easily. It also helps to position the city as a desirable tourist destination.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
We are adopting the blockchain technology in both the generation of funding through our proposed ICO and also in recouping proceeds from the sale of our services through the smart contract. We are developing a superb long term working business-to-business relationship with all our partners (technical, administrative, blockchain and aerial cable car consulting specialist).
I am a social entrepreneur building a sustainable cheap and eco-friendly smart transport solution in Africa. I was born on the 5th of February 1987. I am an economist by profession and also have a great interest in Fashion and design. I have been recognised and nominated for different entrepreneurial program like Cherie Blair foundation in their maiden edition of the Road to growth program. I also have been selected into the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program, an initiative of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, the biggest enterprise development group in Africa. I am motivated by simply making the world better than I met it. This was why even in my undergraduate days I become a member of the AIESEC leadership group.
