Smart Indoor Garden
Explain your idea in details:
The object of this product is to scale-up production of our home energy and water sustainable vertical gardening structures that allow people to farm vegetables in their home using significantly less water and electricity. The garden will also be accompanied with a mobile app that will notify the user of the requirements needed by garden.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
We want to produce about 5 units a day, 25 units a week and up to 1,250 units annually. We seek to put a vertical garden in every home in our country. This project will see an improvement in the average diet of the Zimbabwe household. This will help us accomplish our sustainable development goal of Zero Hunger (SDG 2). The vertical garden will help lower CO2 levels in urban areas thus creating sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11).
Plans for implementation and sustainability
We will sale the units online and in retail stores and in hardware stores.
