Phage therapy is the use of bacteriophages to treat bacterial infections, the use phage is not well improved in most part of the globe except in former soviet states where they try to improve phage therapy as the first option against bacteria. My project focuses on improving the well-being of the human race in treating bacterial diseases with less or no negative effects due to the fact that normal antibiotics cause a lot of undesired effects.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Expected impact of my project are: 1.Eliminating resistant bacterial strains hence reducing risk of people contacting incurable infections 2.To increase animal production by using phages to fight bacterial infections to the animals 3.To employ young generation on my project hence they will get financial support 4.To treat chronic resistant infections caused by resistant strain of bacteria
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Community sensitization will be my key objective on educating people on how bacteriophages have practical proven their efficiency over the bacterial infections. My business model will have me as a CEO and the three main coordinators below me; marketing manager, research manager and medical supervisor.The CEO will oversee all the project's activities with the help of marketing manager for publicity of our products, research manager for innovation of new products and medical supervisor to supervise the treatment procedure at our facilities. Financing sources will be our profit we get from selling our products and services. We will welcome any productive and focused collaborators
My name is RAPHAEL HANS LWESYA Tanzanian by nationality and am currently a student at Makerere university,Kampala,UGANDA taking Bachelor in Biomedical Laboratory Technology. I was born in 26th/2/1997 at Rukwa region in TANZANIA there fore am 22 years old. I have been in a couple of volunteering work in hospitals,research projects and research laboratories and currently in volunteering and doing my project's research at COVAB microbiology research lab at my university.I have a certificate in data analysis from my college and am more experienced in microbiology department and computer literally since i get some of my income through computer programming and web designing. Iam about to finish my degree from Makerere university
