IPELENG MEDICAL FUND
Explain your idea in details:
More than millions of South Africans people only 16% of them have access to private health care facilities and that lead to more spending in public or government expenditures. The main reason why lot of people can't afford expensive medical scheme is because of the low household income as millions of south Africans earn average between R0-R5 000 is which leads to less access to medical scheme. The reason why the is high death rate in public or government facilities is because patience can wait up to 2 month for doctor consultation unlike to private health care to consult a doctor takes hour's to 3 days. Ipeleng Medical Fund is not medical aid scheme but medical fund for people who earn less than R5 000 as many can't afford expensive medical scheme to have access to private doctors and buying medication at pharmacist. In south Africa 87.5% of pensioners don't have medical aid scheme and they tend to spend on they are pension funds or going to sharks loans for consulting doctors in which it will return in high interest rate rather than paying p/m and get medical fund for instant sickness or illness as they can't predict future illness and they can't save money to have access to doctors and pharmacists. IPELENG MEDICAL FUND is here's to solve the problem of clients who have different diseases as public facilities can't have doctors or specialist in other illness
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
We are targeting people from rural areas, people with disabilities, childrens, students, pensioners and also people who works but earning low income. We aiming to improve life of those who does not have any source of income by giving them decent work and also to access to private health facility and best service in medication. 84% over millions in South Africa can't have access to private doctors and quality service in medication are poor people who don't earn lot of salary or no income at all because they can't afford expensive medical aid scheme as they cant even buy medication at pharmacists and consulting doctors. Ipeleng medical fund it will reduce unemployment by 0.2% of the population and also encourage more professional doctors to open private practitioners for easily access by communities in which it will help our country with economic growth. Private health facility is the main problem not only in South Africa but the whole of Africa especially poor people to have quality service for health facilities.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
We are raising funds for reducing or solving the problem in south Africa for everyone to have access to private doctors and medication by providing the MasterCard as the is no medical fund for poor people in south Africa and also to open branches in all province's across the country for clients to be nears us. We will give clients probation of 3 months before we approve the application afterward client will get medical funding to have access for private doctor and also medication.
