Explain your idea in details:
According to World Health organization (WHO), there is 1 physician for 10 000 patients in Africa and this physician usually lives in urban areas. Always according to WHO, 80% of people living in African rural areas dont have access to doctors. Therefore, what to do for all those patients across Africa where there is not doctor and who need to be in good health in order to contribute for their continents development? How can we help doctors to efficiently collaborate in order to commonly solve medical cases? The Esso's health story in Biba village (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP4lSEaPk-0 ) motivated us to solve this problem. Competitive advantages of TeleDocta: 1. Affordable cost We will offer a $4 remote cardiac consultation to rural patients, while our competitors offer it from $26. 2. Multi-Platform and flexible service Our service will be accessible through a web browser or a mobile application, it will be able to work with any type of Internet connection. 3. Electronic Health Records (EHR) We offer an EHR of the patient accessible during all consultations. It is recurring to find during a consultation that the patient's medical record containing his medical history is missing, which often results in medical errors. 4. Take into account rural patients Patients in the villages will be able to remotely consult a doctor through our service. 5. Mobile means of payment Our mobile money payment method is suitable for the rural world. 6. Doctors collaboration Our service will enable remote collaboration among health professionals to collectively resolve complex health cases. 7. Patients sharing Patients suffering from the same diseases will also be able to share their common medical experience.

This vision is carry out by the value proposition remote consultations for an access to quality healthcare for all social strata in Africa at an affordable cost. With TeleDocta has a strong potential to improve the African healthcare system through information technology. In fact, TeleDocta will give remote access to quality healthcare to 300 million patients living in rural areas in Africa and will create at least a thousand jobs. TeleDocta will change the lives of patients and doctors alike. In fact, patients living in rural areas will have access to the same doctors (at an affordable cost) as those living in urban areas. As for doctors, they will be able to remotely consult patients they do not have access to, especially in landlocked areas.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
The cost of the service is defined by the health professional. TeleDocta charges a commission on any consultation made through the platform. For example, if a doctor sets the cost of the consultation at $ 10, when the patient pays the consultation, TeleDocta collects $ 1 (10% of $ 10). In 2017, we received $5000 from the Tony Elumelu Foundation which help us to build a MVP. In February 2019, we received $500 from Africa Connekt to host a beta version of TeleDocta at www.teledocta.com We are currently seeking funding to finance our entry into the market.
