His world jamb cafe
Explain your idea in details:
The idea of this project is to create a conducive learning and examination centre. The centre will be built like a stadium such that anywhere you are seated you could see and be seen either with the physical eyes or with a medium. It should be able to take 50 - 100 candidates per role and am looking at at least 10 roles giving a total ranging from 500- 1000 candidates in the auditorium per sitting. Each candiddate has his/her own laptop. The laptops will be designed such that any foul play during the exams can be traced and the student walked out of the hall. There will be Cctv installation to monitor all actions and movement which requires trained personnel to be at alert and eyes in the screen always. Personally, I will employ the services of military personals on exam days ONLY for thorough invigilator like in Nigeria Defence Academy exams. There will be air conditions in the auditorium to reduce sweating and air pollution and increase hospitality. For the cafe/ waiting room;It will be sizeable enough to provide refreshment services to waiting students and parents. Accommodation will be in form of a hostel where students who come earlier than said date will lodge and relax prior to exam day. And finally the security post where candidates will be searched thoroughly before gaining entrance to all departments. The aim is to reduce exam malpractices during jamb exams; provide hospitality, increase reading capacities; selfishly reduce student mindset that only schooled individuals name it in life so that they can channel their energy to using to vocational training and skills acquisition.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
I could sound unthoughtful but it the truth. When you sit for an exam three - four times, a time will come when you would give up and look for something that pays you. So in essence my idea will impact in people the importance of being an entrepreneur ( a creator), it will provide employment ranging from 50 - 100 active people. In the absence of exams it can be used to train qualified students in the field of computer science and engineering practically such that they can design and redesign software to boost Nigeria information technology system starting with their immediate environment. This will reduce the unemployment rate because we will be breeding solution bosses not slay mamas and yahoo boys graduate ( meaning you will serve your community before serving Nigeria). I noticed Nigerian graduates are enthusiastic of NYSC than being properly schooled. Gender equality will be promoted through female education and empowerment as women are topping the games now in schools especially abroad and they are being retained there to grow their economy instead of their father land. With an advanced world revolving around information technology many corrupt practices can be reduced especially elections primarily which put underinformed and misinformed men on thrones and endangering our entrepreneurial lives.
Plans for implementation and sustainability
For this project to be implemented, I will need large capitals from organizations and federal approval on the long run to buy a land in good sites with good human and non - human resources at most an acre of land. I intend to write a proposal to The federal government, state governments, ministry of education, banks, International bodies like rose of Sharon foundation, African development banks, oil companies, schools and information technology companies and other firms who could be of financial assistance. I hope to be in collaboration with AYEEN, WHO, UNICEF, DANGOTE although am yet to hear of his interest in promoting entrepreneurship and banks particularly Guaranty Trust bank and Access bank as they seem to be giving opportunities to young stars.
My name is Onwuemenyi Nnebueze Emmanuella by documents but I prefer to be called ellachukwu or Ella influential. I am a graduate of imo state university from the department of Nutrition and dietetics. I have always known I would shake somebody to shake the world ( legacy) but my father never wanted me to as he refuses to impact in me since his father didn't. I grew up In a family where my father believes that women are of no use and an expenses and a hindrance to men growth. Well, my mother's unproductive nature gave him a genuine example that even we cannot argue about. As if that wasn't enough the president had to say " women belong to this room and the other Room". I managed and looked pass it..it well! Just to get a job my physique was the acceptable resumé and the words " use what you have to get what you want, it a man's world" came flying out. Even at that till now he wouldn't gimme a job cause he feels what attracted me to him will attract the next boss his friend. I got angry and with motivation to prove them wrong starting with daddy( name I call people I wanna disprove of their words and actions). This has been my driving force. Success..! have achieved self worth and it a start up success for me but locally and internationally sadly, not enough to be heard by my daddies. My awards are boring, not worth talking about as the added nothing to me then and now but if i must: I was made a prefect in SS2 instead of SS3; a course rep from predegree to year 2 and a senator in the faculty and i was even named a dethronerofmen.
