Explain your idea in details:
Inidev-ed is an edutainment program and intelligent, usable on electronic supports (PC, tablet or smartphones). Its general and specific objectives are: Develop students' learning abilities, Facilitate the assimilation of lessons in a fun way and without moving or internet connection necessary, Facilitate interaction between teachers and learners, Fight intellectual overwork, nervous fatigue and stress in schools Help the child to better organize their work schedule according to their emotions (fatigue, stress, anger, sadness,) Promote the learning of children in isolated areas and Strengthening the inclusive school Inidev-ed is a program with a whole kit that will have to be installed in an electronic medium. An intelligent outdoor camera will be adapted to the electronic medium to detect the emotions of the learner. According to UNESCO Articles (19, 26 and 27), access to quality education is a fundamental right of every child in any part of the world. The violation of this right may be considered a punishable offense. Many children in Africa in general and in Congo in particular are deprived of this right because of several reasons. Either because of lack of financial resources, because of difficulties of access to the school or because of the armed conflicts still raging in many African countries. Inidev-ed is therefore about providing another solution to the educational problems that plague many African societies. The innovative feature of the program is the use of a smart camera that, through sensory sensors detects the emotions of the learner during the learning of a course. Depending on the severity of the emotion, the program asks the learner to take a break and can even offer a playful and entertaining game.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
Inidev-ed is a program whose primary purpose is to develop digital technology in Africa in general and in Congo in particular. Through this program, children living in refugee camps, in areas of armed conflict and in remote areas (mountain villages or desert regions) will have access to quality education, especially as the program does not necessarily require an internet connection. The ultimate goals of Inidev-ed is therefore to fight against the illiteracy of children, to strengthen the inclusive school because every child of the world wherever he is from Darfur, to Raqqa via Kananga (DRC), has the right to study, under the right conditions. Then the realization of Inidev-ed will give first work to at least 5 Congolese, something to help reduce the unemployment rate in my country. The Inidev-ed program, with the collaboration of some academic institutions, will set up a kind of MOOC (online training) to award diplomas to students who do not have the possibility to go to the universities because of lack of financial means . Distance training will be charged at fixed prices to give access to any eager. The main objective of Inidev-ed is to collaborate with some UN agencies (Unesco, UNICEF, UNHCR) to overcome the illiteracy of children in Africa in particular and the world in general. For an uneducated youth can not participate in sustainable development policies. It is in this perspective that the Inidev-ed (Development Initiatives through Education) program has been chosen as the motto: '' Educate to develop ''
Plans for implementation and sustainability
Congo now has more than one million students (source : Google) Of this number more than a quarter uses smartphones and have an internet connection through the mobile packages of local telephone networks (MTN and Airtel). Students will have the opportunity to download our program in trial version on App store and then buy a license later if they wish. To ensure good visibility of our product, collaboration will be established with local mobile networks, officials of public and private institutions, representatives of UNESCO in the Congo, representatives of UNICEF in Congo and of course the officials of primary, secondary and literacy education. But since the program will be designed for all students in the world, a collaboration with online sales networks will be necessary as with Amazon for all those residing outside the Congo, a collaboration with Google, Facebook and many others will also be necessary to be visible throughout the continent. To ensure income for the company, the program and all its Kit will be sold at 20,000 FCFA (about 30 euros) under license. And if we sell 100 program kits the month, this takes us to 2,000,000 FCFA and annually this takes us to 24,000,000 FCFA (about 36,924 euros). Taking into account the expenses of the company (advertising costs, building rental costs, current, staff and others); the company can make an annual income of about 10,000,000 FCFA (about 15400 euro)
Congolese student, aged 24, I was born and raised in Brazzaville (capital city of the Republic of Congo). Holder of a professional degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique of the University Marien Ngouabi. I have long witnessed poor quality education in my country in general and in rural areas in particular. In 2011, when I obtained my BEPC, I enrolled in the public high school Savorgnan de Brazza (the largest public high school in the Congo). Very quickly I am indignant at the poor learning conditions that I have to face for 3 years. Repetitive teacher absenteeism and overcrowding in classrooms (an average of 70 to 100 students per classroom) lead me to think about a more effective learning strategy that can reinforce inclusive schooling and enable students to study without internet connection necessary. Thus, after obtaining my BAC in 2015, I apply for the entrance examination at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique. My motivation for this competition was to have the tools needed to properly structure my idea and achieve it. Throughout my academic career, I had quite important knowledge in analog electronics, basic computer science, architecture of processor systems, digital electronics, integrated circuits but also and especially in scientific programming. Six major disciplines that will help me to structure my idea and to better manage it. In terms of leadership, I am currently advising the Vice-President of the student association of the Ecole Nationale Superieure Polytechnique, an association that aims to manage and solve the social and administrative problems of 1000 students of the school.
