Pure Honey Uganda
Explain your idea in details:
We are fast runner in developing the local beekeeping sector established in December 2018; through processing, packing and marketing of honey, supporting capacity building of small holder beekeepers and their representative institutions; technical training; appropriate production technology; provision of market access to local markets (high-end outlets but also bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers), while contributing to pollination of food crops and conservation of forests. We are family owned business that is solely started and is in operation with sole support of Alfred Lokoroma and Emmy Odong as the core owners but being supported by the family members and some few people around the operational area. Our Vision To reduce poverty by 60% and contribute to the economic growth, development and better nutrition of the people as well as reducing the market gap between the farmers and the final consumers in Northern Uganda. Objectives To Produce pure filtered honey available in the market all year long and train a core contingent of 10 local community members in the practice of beekeeping.
