An interactive and fun platform that wants to disrupt the tourism industry by adding gamification and offering an alternative to the regular tour. It's a fun activity to do with your close group of friends, co-workers, your boyfriend or girlfriend, or for families with children. It gives players the freedom to explore cities at their own pace and on their own terms. They can start and pause the game whenever they want to spend more time visiting a attraction they love, stopping to eat at a local restaurant or simply taking a break. In addition, our players enjoy the joy of exploring a city with a group of friends, rather than having to join a group of 20-30 people during a classic guided tour.
Expected impact of your idea on sustainable development
It involves all actors of a local ecosystem (inhabitants, tourists, local guides, city lovers, brands). We want to help people experience local spots by promoting local shops, restaurants and cafes along our routes, while also supporting local entrepreneurs. In addition, we want to offer an alternative to mass tours, which start at fixed times, have to be pre-booked and take place in large groups, increasing congestion in already crowded places. As players will often visit lesser-known locations in the city, this helps solve problems such as overcrowding and also redistributes revenue from tourism, allowing local businesses located far from the tourist spots to benefit. Each challenge is created by local content creators, storytellers, creative writers or seasoned tour guides and includes must-see popular attractions and hidden spots (local cuisine restaurants, authentic craft workshops, bars, play areas and more). In return, these creators receive a recipe for each mission we sell together. All content will be validated by a member of our team before it becomes available in the app. Another action of social impact that we intend to take in the future is to add charities and local social causes in the ways of exploitation. When you go to a place that needs help, the app will give you a push notification making a donation / volunteer call. And we have plans to launch entire missions focused on social causes, with contributions to NGOs.
