Explain your project in details:

Kalosa was started by nurses after realizing the salary for nurses was little and couldn't sustain many of the nurses especially those with families and other responsibilities.Activities: We organized part of our salary about $26 and when we got enough we started giving out money at a lower interest rate for members development. We are planning now to put more money in Agriculture, descent homes, education and helping vulnerable people.Objectives: To improve financial status of the member through giving out money for a low interest rateTo foster development through agriculture, descent homes and helping other nurses to access money easilyTo help vulnerable people especially those in hospitals and communityTo help school projects through some contributionsInnovative approach: We plan to give each family one cow to foster developmentWe shall use the money we have accumulated for this projectWe call for help to help us run this project efficiently and help more nurses to access the finances, we hope to develop into a bigger micro-finance that will bring all nurses together.

Sustainability has been done already the money that members borrow has been making profits and this has helped us sustain the project and we see it developing every year.We are requesting for more funds from well wishers and other donors to accomplish our goals.We plan to start more projects that will generate more money.

Your profile as an entrepreneur

John Bosco Kamugisha 34 years and born in rural area worked in rural area and i have Masters in Global Health but previously nursed patients in hospitals, been working in health sector for last 10 years without any development and the idea came because i had worked hard without enough payment which couldn't even make me manage other things my motivation came when other nurses decided to take up my idea and we contributed money willingly and no one has disappointed us in the project. What makes us succeed is that before you apply for money you have paid the last balance and you have been paying monthly subscription well. We haven't achieved any awards but hopping to do so .
