Explain your project in details:

By two thousand and thirty, two-thirds of the worlds population will be living in cities. Despite possessing more advantages including quality services and infrastructures, urban areas are also associated with inequalities, high crime rate, economic exclusion, isolation and environmental degradation. While those dangers get more severe as cities continue to grow, it is essential thinking about how urban communities should be sustainable even when the resources are not going to increase in few following years. Through, Brave City Youth platform was created to provide an online based free accessible platform which aspires youth to transform urban advantages into community benefits. It offers educative information, inspirations and toolkit forum to enable them benefit their communities. The vision of this project is to create sustainable urban communities where youth are leaders of positive transformation. Our mission is empowering youth to become main agents of sustainable urbanization through raising awareness and creating youth spaces for positively grabbing urban advantages. Additionally to publishing educational articles for urban youth, Brave City Youth is the only platform by which youth can be empowered on chairing the strive for Global Goal number eleven by using existing urban advantages in their local cities and be able to challenge other global youth on being productive instead of dismissive behaviors including drug abuse, neighborhood violence and early sexual activities.

Sustainability and future plans

At Brave City Youth, we believes in the power of youth in leading a positive change. We also don't doubt the strength of social digital literacy to the social transformation of a community. In addition, we built our model on the rapid smart phones penetration and increased rate of internet users all over the world. Since the launch of the project, we have been working with volunteers among them are editors, software engineers, bloggers and artists. While this is a civic non profit project, everyone does his/her best to make this cause a success. Volunteers benefit from this experience as it keeps making them active and prepare them for employment seeking journey since unemployment is still a big issue. We currently have pending grants and partners and also hope to register our project as an NGO in the near future as the activities will be also improved. We will continue to serve our course and will never give up till all urban communities become green, inclusive, safe and resilient.

This must be the 2019 Best project! We really need this project in India!
It can help resolve different urban issues and keep our youth safe & positive.
The founder, needs to create also offline platforms like educative games and applications. This should help every youth to be familiar with this project in every case of life.

Super! This project deserves support! Almost every youth nowadays uses internet but none cares about what they spend all night and days browsing. There is still need of positive contents online to help our generation not be trapped under faster development black side but develop an attitude of benefiting their communities effectively. I wish this project can be the Best of 2019 and be supported on large scale.

This project deserves my Vote. First of all, it targets youth and we ll know that youth are main agents of Global goals realization. Secondly, it is sustainable and can be translated into different local languages to help every one benefit form it. To sum up, I've never thought about exploring existing urban advantages in implementation of the SDG 11. Wow, this founder is very creative.
