Creation of an African Centre for Participatory Governance
Explain your project in details:
The African Centre for Participatory Governance aims to be a centre of leadership, a structure of youth, in solidarity, capable of promoting and fostering the emergence of a dynamic, responsible, united and voluntarily committed African youth in the process of the emergence of a new Africa. The objective of the project is to build a new community of young leaders generating cutting-edge knowledge on participatory governance and development enabling them to see and create a new future with an inclusive, sustainable and participatory vision. The beneficiaries of the project are young people aged 16 to 24 and children. We have developed a learning cycle that will help participants acquire new skills and master new concepts. This four-part learning cycle integrates the need to discover gaps in your knowledge and skills, learning at your own pace, peer learning (students teaching and learning from each other) and facilitated group learning. Each step of the learning cycle is incorporated into the courses that participants will take as part of their core leadership. Beneficiaries will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, ethnic origin, colour, sex, religion, socio-economic status, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
