African Centre for Participatory Governance
Explain your project in details:
The African Centre for Participatory Governance is intended to be a leadership centre, a structure of solidarity youth, capable of promoting and fostering the emergence of a dynamic, responsible, solidarity-based African youth that is voluntarily engaged in the process of the emergence of a new Africa. The main objective will be to set up in high schools real incubators of informed and committed citizens who thus become agents of change and pioneers in the local development of their communities. These incubators will also be designed to encourage entrepreneurship, allowing each young student who leaves high school with a loan project that can be applied for funding. We have developed a four-part learning cycle that will help beneficiaries acquire new skills and master new concepts. This four-part learning cycle integrates the need to discover gaps in your knowledge and skills, to learn at your own pace, to learn from peers (students teaching and learning from each other) and to learn in groups. Each stage of the learning cycle is integrated into the leadership courses that participants will take as part of their core leadership. Beneficiaries will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, ethnic origin, colour, sex, religion, socio-economic status, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
