Explain your project in details:
Diabetes or high blood glucose is a word simpler to pronounce and more simple to implement. Most of the time word Diabetic is used to introduce too much sugar in the body but most don't know the importance of having the Diabetes Tester Kit at home and technical nature of performing it themselves to prevent diabetes. People to fight diabetes must first recognize the diabetes causes symptom's including Increased thirst, frequent urination, extreme hunger, Slow-healing sores, blurred vision etc It is necessary for everyone to know the various types of diabetes that include type 2 diabetes, type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes etc and people must undergoes blood tests to determine blood glucose levels because there is no definite way to know if one have diabetes. Healthful eating is an important way of controlling blood sugar levels. A person with a new diagnosis of diabetes may have to reconsider their diet such as avoiding too much sweet and carbohydrates food. The best thing about diabetes is that anyone can learn it whether you are a parent, child, student or someone else. To bring diabetes training on a worldwide platform just organizing some seminars won't help, It should be made an integral part of our education and special programme and training on this should be provided in schools so that every child knows the types, symptoms, causes and prevention before they leave the schools. To educate people campaigns should be launched, leaflets and pamphlets should be distributed and Advertisements should be launched not only by health professionals but also by certified diabetes learners. Reading in form of theory and just watching it is not enough, They should be made to practice test on patients who are willing to share their stories to help others not to be victims.
Impact of your enterprise on sustainable development
Diabetes Tester Kit is an effective tool not only for testing a person from sugar but it is a vital aid that can be used to control a person who is suffering low or high blood sugar. Bringing back a person with diabetes cases back to stability requires few elements connected with continuity and integration. The uses of glucose metre composing of a disposable test strip for monitoring blood sugar level, if no performed properly there will be problem with meter usage result and blood sugar metres need to be used and maintained properly. Even though diabetes is not anyone fault, and its nothing to be ashamed of, 76% of People with Type 2 diabetes feel shame around their diagnosis. Unfortunately, the majority of people (55%) with type 2 diabetes avoid talking about it but what we can do about it, is by practicing empathy and compassion for people living with type 1 or 2 diabetes whether for ourselves or for someone else. The loss of life during emergencies is not good. Performing diabetes test can help preserve individual's sugar functions and other vital functions in the body. Some diabetic victims die before reaching the hospital but immediate diabetes test can double or triple a victim's rate of survival. So diabetes test can make immediate difference for the victim and his or her family. High glucose level has no time and place to occur, so if everyone knows it, they can help the person to survive using Insulin or blood sugar supplements. Diabetes training gives a person life saving skills they need to succeed. A person knowing it can also help other people in it. Age, gender, country, wealth, colour of person, is immaterial to saving of life but awareness of it will help us rise above these views.
Sustainability and future plans
The collaboration of fighting diabetes can be done by schools teaching it and government health department can support and contribute to it including some non governmental organizations (NGO) can also help too. Although this Project does not require a huge amount of money but requires just a little time and effort to save life. The most important thing required is to create awareness about the right food consumption and providing free diabetes test. Although Diabetes Training should be given to all since Diabetes has no age or place to occur but it should be taught to illiterate, market women, students, parents etc who are consuming any kind of sweet and carbohydrates food on daily basis. The most important training requirement is in developing and conservative countries. Demonstration on DIABETES both by Health Professionals and Certified Food Health Care and Diabetes trainers should be made in crowded areas to gather more people attention like in churches, schools, markets, rural communities etc. Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc can also be used to create awareness. Leaflets, pamphlets and advertisements can also help create awareness to people. People should also be taught not only the causes of diabetes but also how to prevent or manage it in different cases, for example in case of woman and how to handle the patient, if patient had a knife cut or injury. This can only happen if we stand together as one and bring the project forward till one day nobody dies of diabetes due to lack of knowledge about the causes of diabetes.
